The oldest clones are about ready for transplant into 1 Gal Pots, so I should be doing that soon, but I need more soil though. I really need to get my clone/veg cabinet set up for airflow and light leaks because no intake or exhaust is set up, or electrical wiring holes are made yet. I just have the 6 inch air king fan at the top of the cabinet blowing air around the inside of the cabinet and it escapes out the gaps around the door flap. It has velcro and taped closed but that isn't sealed fully along the left and right sides at all so air can get in and out still, and the electrical cables come in from bottom left at the moment. I am still designing in my head if I am going to use computer fans ( because they are quieter and use less power); and how big I want to cut out the intake/exhaust/electrical ports and where I'm going to put them. It's 4 feet wide 18 inches deep and 3 feet tall the space, and I would love a window with a screen that I can cover with a velcro flap, so i can look in without opening the door. I would make it like the secret jardin side flaps. I have velcro sticky tape, and use that to open and close the front door flap at the moment, and I'm also considering zippers.

You can see the 3 Yellow Leafed clones in the black containers, the 3 of them were in rockwool cubes in a container with a half inch of standing water as an experiment, and the water got green goo growing in it, algae I think. (Normally I would have had perlite in there too, and it would have turned green as well) . The first batch of clones was rooted and ready for transplant in 2 weeks the ones started 1-4, but these were started 10 days later on 1-14. So when 1-29 rolled around I opened the rockwool cubes to check for roots to see what was taking so long. They were barely rooted, none coming out the sides of the rockwool though, and they looked blackish brown sludge on some roots. After putting the clones back in the same rockwool, I put them in the black rootmaker express 18 propagation pots. RootMaker, The Original Root Pruning Container System.

its probably root rot
the green is algae and the light is what caused it
it mustve been really wet and constantly under the light
once it starts rooting you don't wanna to keep it constantly saturated

I got my 4x12 phresh duct muffler installed, put a blanket around the can-fan to muffle some more sound, and it's probably half as loud now. I can run the fan all day and night now.

I got some insecticidal goodies: mosquito bits and tangle-foot sticky goo. I'm going to wait, maybe next grow to use it because I don't want to move the plants from the scrog net, seems like a lot of extra work. So I sprinkled the mosquito bits in the soil and sprayed it with water to activate it. Hope it works. Got the tangle-foot and covered more of the yellow sticky trap with it. I also got some yellow pieces of paper and covered it with tangle-foot and laid it on the top of the soil. The cups with water and soap in it is doing a decent job as well.

Next I need to make a gallon of week 2 ferts, and water the plants this week and weekend. I'm going easy on watering, with the gnats and all.

What i meant to say was I'm not going to use the 2x2 tray inside the tent until next time. I also noticed the stickyfoot glue seeped into the paper and it is less effective now. I will have to use a waterproof surface like plastic or wax paper or whatever. The smell of the goo is noticeable. The smell from the mosquito bits is worse though. Definitely need a carbon filter for this stuff. Stinky. More bugs stuck to traps and more drowned in the water cup with soap and hydrogen peroxide. I added some fruit punch to the water as well and put some tanglefoot around the lip of the cup inside and outside. Already caught a few on it. The extra glue I put on the yellow sticky traps to cover the whole surface has already caught quite a few extra gnats. This 6oz tube will go along way, even though i kinda wasted some on 3 pieces of paper. The stuff will get on your hands so I recommend some latex gloves, which I have but didn't use. I used dish soap, liquid soap, and some alcohol hand sanitizer. To spread the goo I used a thin bamboo stick and rolled it like a steam roller back and forth and folded the card in half and stuck it together and unstuck it a few times. It's kinda fun but it kinda smells and don't rub your eyes or face or pick up your phone to take pictures or to put it to your ear :)

So it was about time to make a gallon of week 2 fertilizer since Monday was the beginning of week 2. I didn't need to water until today which is the first time for week 2. I still had half gallon of week 1 flowering fertilizer left. So rather than make week 2 which is half over I decided to do something different. I had started with a gallon of week 1 flower fertilizer in week 1 and used about half in week 1. For week 2 I filled up the week 1 container with water and watered this morning with about half a gallon of the 1/2 strength fertilizer and a few cups of plain water. Each plant got about half a gallon of water, 16 oz cup of fertilizer water and 48 oz of water. So the fertilizer container was half gallon left and I added the rest with water to week 1 flower fertilizer to make it about 1/4 strength.
So it was quarter strength or so of 1 Gal now I call it Week 2 Flower Fertilizer and then I added a little extra fertilizer to give it some boost. Instead of mixing up week 2 per the chart, I just added a bit to what was the difference between week 1 and week 2 on the chart. To make it week 2 Micro requires 7 mL total, well Week 1 Micro had 6mL, and Week 2 needs 7mL, so I just added 1 mL Micro. Yes I know this would work if week 1 was full strength and not 1/4 strength so I should really figure 6/4 =1.5 and 7-1.5=5.5 mL Micro, and that would make it full strength, but I'm already half way done with the week anyway and I was more concerned with getting the .5 grams of Bud Start in during week 2 since it's a week 2 only and it gets the buds started :) I am figuring out as I go along how much water it takes. I don't like to fertilizer full strength and I don't like to fertilize every water either. So I haven't gotten into any kind of grove but It looks like watering 2 times a week, 3 times max. I want to resist the urge to over water over fertilize. I mean the water is black from the fertilizer mix and I know it's strong stuff.

Week 2 = 1/4 strength of Week 1 Gallon with the following added:
1 mL Micro
1/2 mL Grow
2 mL Bloom
2 mL Super B+
1 drop Royal Gold
1 drop Royal Black
.5 Grams Bud Start
.25 Grams Carbo Blast

Then I mixed week 3 full strength one gallon separate container as follows:

micro 7ml
grow 4 mL
bloom 12 mL
super b+ 8 mL
Royal Gold 5 mL
Royal Black 5 mL
Ton o Bud 2grams
Carbo Blast 1 gram

I trimmed up the GDP clone only leaving the top few leaves where it was topped. I'm trying to form a Y or an inverted peace sign :peace:. I got more foxfarm soil so I can transplant it into 1 gal rootmaker pot. I add a little bit of extra perlite for extra drainage and it has some miracle grow in it.

There are lots of white hairs everywhere! I did some more leave removal to get more lights to the bud sites. I am not familiar with the GDP strain and I have way to many tops on it. I've been removing some leaves from it, and working it into the net as it grows. I am considering turning up to 300 watts to get more lights to the buds when they get a little bigger.

I was doing some lst on the plants in veg that I have in 1 Gal pots. I accidently broke off the top of one, oh well. It was a good top too with two tops in a y. Now I have something to work with though. I was bending it like an 'n' when it broke so now it looks like an 'r' . Pics to follow soon.

Sweet love the pics
all my gdp's so far came out male 1 seed left to try and they don't have more in stock to buy

Keep some of the pollen and you can make seeds later. I grew a male last year from seed, an L.A. Confidential I think. I should have got some pollen and made some seeds with another strain I had, Querkle. Then I would have had plenty of seeds. I want to grow from seed again so bad. Hope you get female next time.
