Grandpa Likes To Squeeze Stuff: Solventless Extracts, Rosin, Pressed Here!

Not sure how hard it is to make gummy's, will know soon, but I usually make a mess with caps. I always squirt to hard, squeeze to much or generally waste a lot of CO.
If I am able to make 100 - 100 mg gummy's that should last me 70 plus days of med's and some fun days also.
The stronger they are, the better they seem to me. :cheesygrinsmiley: I still infuse my oil with bud, but I’m eager to see your results.
I guess you could work your numbers backwards...
How much do you typically get from a 7 gram puck. I typically infuse 7-14 grams of bud per cup of oil. I like cold pressed coconut oil.
So at 20% return for the bud means around 1.5 - 3.0 grams of rosin per cup of oil. Plus a table spoon of sunflower litchn. Sound rightish?

BZ,
I will be using FECO instead of Rosin. Not confident enough to decarboxylate Rosin yet and don't want to ruin any. I know what 0.1 ml of my oil does to me physically, so I will get back to the 0.2 ml as a wellness dose quite rapidly.
I have been out of CO for a few months, gave my last away to a person with cancer and have been too lazy to make some. Should have made it in April. I can sure tell I have not been taken it.

I will be making a 8 to 12 zip FECO batch, hope to get 40 to 50 grams of oil from that run. I know I will get tired of the gummy's everyday and will want to just do straight oil between my lip and gum again.

Oh stop! @gr865 Decarb a little rosin and try it. You’ll be surprised. You got enough for the whole damn village you old fart. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Aging like fine wine!

Just did a very small good morning dab of G13 Haze, damn it is good.

Sweet! It’s hard to beat fresh squeeze.
I’ve improved my returns. First squish firm. Recover the spoils. The second squish is bag busting firm. My new oily paper is reusable also.

:passitleft:

What? Reusable paper? Is that those oil slick sheets?

A freebie? If so it was well deserved. You've done more to advance rosin use than anyone I've met.

Not free, but they gave me a great deal. All because of this thread. Better than a poke in the eye... :woohoo:

I can’t wait to use them. I’m in the middle of rearranging my “press box” room and cleaning things up. It’s been my catch-all junk room for a few years. This will motivate me to get it done...probably tomorrow.

I really need a press

Gunna look into the Dabpress more

They won me over for sure. From my initial inspection looks well built. I’ll do a full review once I get everything up and running.

Is an auto press that much better than manual press???

Is an auto press that much better than manual press???

A press with automatic pressure and timing settings will give you consistent results, good ones if they're dialed in.

A manual press with a pressure gauge will let you manually achieve the same results.

A manual press without a pressure gauge can give inconsistent results, unless you're like Grandpa Tokin and have the experience to feel your way through the process.
