Hardly an unknown.
Been listening to Tommy Emmanuel since the early 90s.
Hes been on the cover of Guitar Magazine at least twice as best Acoustical Guitarist of the year.

Here's a guy though that is pretty unknown and is just as good as Emmanuel is.

Nobody I know in my circle has ever heard of Tommy Emmanuel before but I'm sure glad someone here has. They both (Tommy & Edgar) kick some serious "A" in my book.:Namaste:

A couple people gave a lot of praise to Buckethead who I’d never heard of before, so I bought one song- ‘all in the waiting’. I thought it was good and very proficient but has a sort of bland studio sound -and quacky generic guitar tone. Anyone have anything by him that’s a little more raw sounding?
