Hello,
I have decided to put together a journal of my last two grows as they tie into each other and will tie into my next grow once seeds arrive. This is my second and third grow with this strain and I have decided on keeping one as a mother and adding a green crack as my second mother. These are already completed grows so I will post pictures and details as I have time to.
I will also explain what I learned from some of my mistakes and please feel free to point out any other mistakes as I am sure there are many as well as any tips or advice any one has is appreciated.
Grow 1
Strain- CBDream feminized from cropking seeds.

Advertised as 8%THC 8% CBD. Out of the five seeds purchased 4/4 germ and completed to flower all female. One seed still not used( this grow is only one plant the other 3 were used in a previous grow).

2’5x2’5x4’ tent

125 Watt T5 and 2 40 Watt cfl mixed spectrum for veg
250 Watt HPS for flower with 2 40 Watt blue spectrum CFL supplemental
Grow medium 100% coco 1gal pot
Veg Nutes organic dirt n grow all purpose
Flower nutes tecnaflora recipe for success.
Total drive yield 96 grams plus trim.
Things learned from these 2 grows:importance of quality nutrients, importance of ph, Scrogging, monstercropping,

Plant was topped at 3 weeks and placed under Scrog .
first pic is the grow set up and a few pics just before the switch to flower. The plant has been under the scrog for 3 or 4 weeks at this point.Sorry I don’t have any earlier pics this is when I started to document more closely.
total veg time is about 7 weeks. This is when I decided to bite the bullet and buy some descent nutes I was starting to have calcium issues a few weeks earlier and my previous soil grow ran into a lot of nutrient issues once the switch was made.

The next 2 pics are about a week later .1 week into flower.I took Down the scrog for a few reasons
1. I was gifted the hps from a good friend who no longer used it.Ihad only ever completed with T5 and cfl so I was concerned with the heat and the fact that my scrog was made from very dry wood and twine( I know I was a little overboard with the paranoia)
2. Even with my tube and funnel watering system I rigged up it was difficult to water
3. The twine left little fibres and I didn’t want it in the finished product
I also have now been using a proper nute solution however I was still working the kinks out so to speak it looks like there’s a little bit of nute burn. I also think I’m starting to get some ph issues as I never bothered with ph testing.
The second two pictures are 10 days later still some nute or ph issues ( I’m not sure entirely could also be due to the small pot)but I think they look overall pretty healthy.
The last 2 pictures are another 7 days later ,
I did some final pruning and took of some cuttings for my first attempt at monster-cropping. There’s a couple brown spots on a couple of the clones lowers leaves and a little bit more signs of what I think is ph or root problems on the plant (from too small of a a container)

The following pictures are basically from the end of week three to flower at 8 weeks. Did a very quick 3 day flush (wich I think I should have made a little longer). I wet trimmed at harvest and hung in the tent with a small passive intake fan and exhaust tuning 24 hours temps about 16-17 Celsius and humidity 60-65% . I was able to snap a small branches on day 4 so I moved to curing jars. I don’t have too many harvest pictures.

This is where I started to have some issues that I can’t identify, I was on a nute schedule meant for coco and soiless(technaflora slightly diluted). Feed water water. And I didn’t do any ph control.
I also forgot to mention somewhere at week 3 or 4 of flower I had to remove the ties from the four branches that were tied down because I tried to tention them down slightly and split the middle of the plant. I was able to tie them and brace them she recovered but perhaps that could be an other cause.
Some lower and mid leaves are getting yellow and almost translucent and dieing off.and the tips are brown and curling up.
The browning and upward curling of the tips seemed to start earlier in the grow at the bottom of the plant and slowly Become more prevalent as thought climbing toward the top. The more severe spots staying toward the bottom.
You can see it in some of the pictures but also on the pictures of the clones that I’ll add as well as they are in better lighting.
Also toward the end you can see some of the leaves are almost cupping or wilting .

If anyone has any suggestions on the problems I listed and that you can see in the pics it would be much appreciated. The next pics are of the clones wich you can see some of the issues in. I’ll also post a pict where you can see how I tied the plant together at the split.
My thoughts are that this is mostly a ph problem and a bucket size problem . As the clones that survived (5 of them) three were given away and grown well currently being flowered. One I kept as a mother and one I threw into flowers wich has since been finished and is curing( I’ll post pics of that too I was going to do a separate grow journal but I don’t have many pics).
The two I kept I haven’t had any issues. I’ve used the same nutes and feed schedule but I have been ph adjusting and used larger buckets.
Keep in mind the clones are taken in week 3 of flowers and grow some wierd vegetation.

The last pics I’ll post are of the 2 clones I kept. One right before harvest and during.
I threw this in flower about 6-7 weeks after cutting. No topping or lst jut let her grow.
And one of the plant I decided to keep as a mother.
