Groundhog

Hi. Herb here. My outdoor plants(gelato and fat banana) were hit by ground hogs. They've since been enclosed. I planted a few more and am wondering if it would be worthwhile to "top" once they're bigger or just let them go? Thanks, from Ontario.

If you have enough time before they start flowering,you could top them-it'll definitely improve the yield.

Ground hogs... damn that’s terrible. I used see lots of ground hogs around here but with so many coyotes around their burrows are scarce.
