Getting close now. Any day at all. I found some amber on one plant. Just waiting to find amber on the other three.

Remember to be checking the calyx trichomes and not the leaves. Speaking of leaves, is that light burn making them crunchy like that?

Also, any reason they all need to come down at the same time?

So ya, couple of these ladies got a tough too close to the light, I have moved the light after i noticed it, but you know damage is done and what not. Only checking the calyx trichomes. The room there in is the only space i have to dry in, so i'm left with no choice but to cut them down all the same time to let them dry in darkness.

The time has come, almost. Tomorrow I will be starting up the chainsaw and falling these ladies. Well, not a chainsaw, but trimmers for sure, and perhaps a hacksaw blade. Some of these branches are super thick. Afraid I’ll break the trimmers trying to cut them down.

So,The excitement begins. Stay tuned and I should have a wet weight after the trim.

Not dried yet. Higher humidity is making the process slow. That’s fine. Good air circulation so I shouldn’t have any problems.

So I decided to try to make some BHO oil. Couldn’t find what I was looking for in my price range, so I made a extractor. It’s 17” long , 7/8” inside diameter and all stainless steel.

Any opinions or thoughts on this?

Ok. So I tried some trim in this and had a problem. Everything went smoothly with the extraction, did it outside well away from everything, never even took my phone with me.

Pored the liquid butane mix into some silicone cooking moulds and placed them into the crockpot with water and tuned it on.

What I was left with was shadder. From what I am told it’s good shadder, but I was trying to make oil.

Stupid me. Lesson learned.

Now to try another way to make oil. More research is definitely needed.

Hey T! That's a huge haul & like Shed said - you'll need a good number of jars for the cure! :19:
Be careful with the BHO my friend. Looks like some good product you're ending up with, but i have seen some bad really things happening with BHO production that you can not come back from.

Yes. That’s exactly what I’m talking about. Don’t happen to know of a good tutorial on making this do you? He’d love to have some of that stuff. Only guides I can find talk about making tinctures or shadder.
