Growing help!

My friend has a plant that is flowering. Currently it's in a grow tent with a reservoir with other plants. If I wanted to buy one of his plants would I plant the plant in soil or keep it in a reservoir environment?

I'm confused, r u thinking of purchasing a flowering plant? If so an environment change could effect yield. Research clones and cloning procedure, also make sure ur friends tent doesn't have any molds or bugs and inspect the leaves top and bottom. Anything his or her plants have will transfer. And as to the reservoir, idk if u r refferencing dwc or a wic system when you say resevoir

I will look for it. The reservoir thing I mean is his plants roots are exposed but the water is full of nutrients. I'm wondering if it's ok to move a flowering plant from that to a pot of soil. I'm planning just to harvest the plant and make clones.

I'm sure it's possible but maintaining its life style would probably be best for the plant then do as you please with the clones. Maybe ur friend would also supply u with enough nutrients to finish its harvest. Hopefully another member can confirm my thoughts or offer a more educated opinion
