GR's 5 Plant Vertical Grow Winter 19/20

Update: Day 63

All is well, one week into flush, gradually lowered ppm by adding RO (@ 95 ppm) 3 gallons at a time to the existing rez solution and pH. About another few days to a week.

Bobby, looking at the screens I am thinking a little lower than past grows. It could fool me as the overall buds as dense. Hope I am wrong by around 40%.

Just shy of 10 weeks, and looking good. GF and I checked trichs today, trying to teach her how to look at the plants.
Looks like harvest will start Monday or Tuesday.

Ok I'm done.
Started on Tuesday , got three plants completed. Went out of town yesterday and finished them today.
Was too busy to take a lot of pics.
With the net attached. Triple Cheese #3

Removed the net and got the big droop.

Ayahuasca Purple
This plant turned out to be the one plant I seem to get every grow, loose buds, no weight and about 1/2 of this plant will be going straight into making FECO after it is dried.

Thinking, this is just a guess, thinking maybe there will be about a pound in total.
20200312_124334 (2).jpg

Here is the larf, selected more than normal to go into FECO. Got about as much off the Ayahuasca Purple as off all the Triple Cheese.

Time to clean up the pots and get them ready for another grow.
20200312_124521.jpg

Over all I am not very happy with this grow. Should not say that because anything you grow is a blessing. But I am thinking I am not going to make weight and the buds are not as tight as I expected.
Not sure what caused this, I am wondering if my lamps are too old, and not putting out the amount of light as they should. So I am going to replace them for the next grow.

Three plants dried and in jars curing, 14.3 zips. There is another 4.6 zips of larf/untrimmed Triple Cheese buds going directly into FECO/CCO.
Took the other two plants out of the plastic bags and rehung them on the stand. So I will be jaring them on Sunday. Also there is a bag of larf/untrimmed Ayahuasca Purple that will be going into
making FECO.

Three of the 5 plants harvested, the other two are still drying, should be jarring them Sunday or Monday.
This is 14.3 zips, ran out of jars. Don't like to fill them this full, prefer 3/4 full jars, need to buy another case of jars.
20200320_125339.jpg

Ok, harvest and jarring completed.
Total 22.9 zips or 641 smokable grams dried and jared.
Triple Cheese - 546 grams smokable and 126 grams untrimmed going into FECO.
Ayahuasca Purple - 95 grams smokable and 105 grams untrimmed going into FECO. The plant grew strange the whole grow, very leafy and thin.
20200323_191022.jpg

So that total going directly into FECO will be supplemented with some of the untrimmed buds from other grows to make a big batch of FECO.

So I am done till August, going to make some Rosin and FECO and enjoy this harvest.
Was expecting over 1g/W but got just under that. Well next grow will be better.

gr865...planning another vertical grow?

I don't grow in the summer it's just too hot, but damn I had planned on traveling after this grow was done. Fuck can't go anywhere, can't even go fishing the beaches are closed. So I should be growing but for the heat!

Anyway, not this next grow. I have two options,
1 - 5 to 6 plant horizontal but can't scrog in my tent, only one entrance and I am a bit too old to be getting in under the plants, so maybe just a screen for support late.

2 - two to 4 plant scrog, using a round screen 42 or so inches, Put the plants on a lazy susan and be able to turn it about 180 degrees both directions with the irrigation attached. Have never done a true horizontal scrog but would like to give it a shot. Just need to make sure I get my numbers..
Something like this.

gr865, I will be in for either option when you start. I really like the lazy susan approach which could work in my 3x3 cabinet. Im also looking at a pot mod to attach a scrog to each pot...think short tomato cage with a 15”x15” screen attached to each. I like your PVC fab skills by the way.

A tip of the Stetson at ya bro
well done

I fucking should of had some clones ready to go after the harvest, I have been here and can't go anywhere for what looks like months.

You don’t have any seeds?

No, was waiting for the 420 sales from the seed co.
Will be buying in a few days, but it takes 21 to 30 days to get it, so hopefully I will be able to travel around then. I need some travel time.
