GSCE Scrog at end of 9 weeks

I’ve been growing this strain GSCE for a couple of years now.
On this last grow because of this strains desire to stretch sooo much, I setup a 4” x 8” scrog to hopefully increase my yield and grow less fluffy bud.

I’m pretty close to harvest and I am pretty happy with what I’m seeing.

Nice buds. Have you thought about upping lumens to reduce stretching. Low light/lumens is most common cause of stretching. Some strains need a little more.

Yes agreed.
Previous grow I had this room lit up and I couldn’t keep these down.
I have also flowered these under gravitas, same deal... they really wanna stretch.
This grow I was able to the stretch a bit by restricting nutes in the last week of veg and first 2 weeks of flower.

Stretchingand fluffy stringy buds is caused from insufficient light source. Not enough lumens/lux. Wattage mean nothing with out actual high lumens/lux.

100% of the bud is tight and awesome bag appeal.

More importantly is that this GSCE is delicious and smokes beautifully. It’s getting better by the day. A nice white ash and a pretty good harvest.
