Did a little unsubscribing earlier this week and unsubscribed from my own Journal.
Cant find my old journal so i am starting a new one.
Update: All is well in the Steel Grow cab. Had a sudden spike in basin temps. Spiked at 79F. PH was still good and cab temp was around the same 79F. Solution was taken and the smell was fine and i double checked the PH and temp using different meters and my current meter was spot on. Put my little air pump on top of some ice packs in a 6 pack ice cooler and ran that all night. Drained a litre and added a liter of colder RO drinking water W/O nutes. Obviously PPM dropped and surprisingly the PH dropped from 6.5 ish to 4.8. i let it ride and within a couple hours the PH was in the 5.5 range. I got a bigger capacity air pump today at the Mart added a loop in the line for an air check and placed it on my concrete floor below the level of my basin. Better bubble production and much smaller bubbles. My basin is hovering around 69F without ice packs. Old cheap mini pump was operating at 81F by my laser heat thermometer. Hope that was the issue and not uncontrolled algae bloom.
Plants are at 8" or so. Sunday will be the end of 4 weeks.
