I know, right? I was shocked. I figured once I switched she would look horribly. After I brought them all inside after being outdoors in winter conditions I honestly wasn’t sure that any of them would make it, especially her. I really think putting them out in the freezing temperatures with less that 12 hours of day light kick started flowering for them.

Oh, forgot to mention. Since the switch I haven’t turned on the baseboard heater in that room, so I’ve been relying solely on the oil forced air to heat the grow room. I’ve been trying to keep the thermostat upstairs at 20 but my wife was having hot flashes and turning it down to 18. The lowest temp the grow room got to was 60F. Usually 62 at lights off. 75 lights on. I’m hoping this hasn’t been mildly stunting the plants, but there’s not really any way to know what they could have been with all these unfortunate circumstances lol.

Day 28 of flower,

Gave the girls their tea last night. They loved it. They are starting to put some size on. I noticed the other night that zkittlez was already developing trichs. Attached you will find a photo I didn’t get a chance to post. This is her day 26 of flower. Correct me if I’m wrong but these buds are quite a decent size for how early she is.

Day 37,
Gave the girls a feeding last night. Compost tea with 0-10-4 bat guano, 1/3 cup worm castings, pure cane sugar, black strap molasses and semi fermented banana water. It brewed way longer than I normally let it because they weren’t thirsty. After 3 days, the microbe level became so high that when I added pure blend pro bloom and cal mag the ph would hardly move. So I added liquid karma and pure blend tea. Still barely brought it to 6.8. I probably shouldn’t have but I put lemon juice in to drop it down to 6.3. I know it doesn’t matter when it comes to the organics but with the supplemental nutes I’m giving it I’d like to see 6.5. I know that I’m just 24 hours it would have rose back up in the medium to over 7. Wednesday I’m going to water them with more pure blend pro. No teas. I’m gonna try and bring the soil ph back down. Zkittlez is looking best. Critical orange punch is still looking a little airy.

Day 41 Flower,
Decided to flush zkittlez last night. I may continue with water until harvest or I may give her some banana water to help bulk up a little more. I would say she’s got another week or two. I’ve decided to flush one critical and to keep with nutes until the last week with the other as a little experiment to see if there’s any noticeable difference for future reference. Purple Trainwreck I am going the strongest with right now. She has the most time to go. I would say the criticals have about 2+ weeks left. From here on out nutes will be pure blend pro, pure blend tea, pure cane sugar and banana water. Maybe a little molasses. I’ve dropped the nighttime temps to 60F. I’d go lower but that’s the lowest I can get without opening a window and I wouldn’t be able to keep a steady temp. I’m trying to bring these bitches true colours out lol.

Thanks! Yeah that’s for sure. Definitely not going to harvest these girls prematurely. The more time goes on the more weight they put on and the branches lean over. Definitely going to let some amber show just don’t want to over do it. I’m shooting for the best of both worlds. Best case scenario ill harvest with most milky with almost no clear and around 15% amber. but who knows what nature has in store lol.

Day 46 of Flower,

Watered zkittlez with molasses last night. same with critical orange punch #1. Critical orange punch got pure blend pro, pure blend tea, molasses, cane sugar and banana water. Purple trainwreck got the same just amped up a little more than critcal. I’m starting to let off a little where she’s coming to an end soon.

Day 55 of flower. Things have been crazy for me the last week. My wife gave birth, and there we some complications with her and the baby. We have been at the hospital since. I’ve been taking turns with my mother in law watching over my wife and baby boy. I came home the other night to find SPIDER MITES! The little bastards! I don’t know where they came from. My heart sank into my stomach. Well I got the shop vac out and went to town on the fuckers. Afterwards I put zkittlez out in the shed for the night. I had also stem split her a couple days ago. Zkittlez was the only one ready at the time. I then took her out and cut all the fan leaves off outside. I cut all the branches off and did some bud washing. I shook them in the cleaning mix for 30 seconds each. Then threw them in the other sink where I sprayed them with the shower head. I repeated the process a second time and then put them out to dry. After checking them over this afternoon there aren’t any signs that they are there. The other girls will be getting the same thing tomorrow as my wife and son are supposed to be finally discharged from the hospital. I would have liked for critical orange punch #2 to have gone another week or two and purple to go another three to four weeks. Either way, I’m happy with the medicine I’ll be getting. And the smell from the room where the other girls are right now is to die for. I’m not worried about the mites with the other girls cause zkittlez had them the worst. And if she’s than I have no worry about them. I only have pictures of zkittlez for now.

Things have been crazy. Haven’t had the time to update. I ended up with some decent smoke. 6 ounces. One from zkittlez, 2 each from the criticals, and one from purple. Purples was premature so I will be making oil with it. The stress from moving these girls in and out definitely hurt my yeild. Either way I’m happy with the trail run for the set up. I’m already preparing for this season. I have some soil that I made myself cooking atm and will be ready to start some seeds soon.

The high from each is nice. Zkittlez last about 2 hours and it smells like candy. Critical orange punch #1 smells like a local citrusy double ipa craft beer available around here. Critical orange punch #2 is still developing its aroma. And purple pretty much smells like grass lol. I’ll post pics soon
