H20gro Grow Journal 2021

@H20gro I have been using Mars-Hydro lights for about 5 years.

Some strains react differently under different light intensity. (This is debatable)

Yes, their lights are powerful; does yours light have a dimmer?

It's best to keep the light in the flower distance range and dim the light down to 75-80% if that is an option?

Hopes this helps,

@Tokin Roll thanks so much for the reply. The light does have a dimmer but ive read the mfg comments that the distamces are based on max setting. Its like 30” for seedlings and 18” for flower, but i will certainly drop it down and try on dimmer setting. Thanks again

Update —- i have two spaces. One is a 2x4x5 tent. Some cfl and “miracle” led bulbs in there. the other space is a small room that allows for 3-4 plants under marshydro tsw 2000.
I currently have two mothers in the tent while the other room has 3 autos.
One of my mother plants is about 70 days old. I cloned her 12 days ago. Took 4 cuttings. All 4 rooted nicely on days 11/12.
So ive planted two of the four clones in coco coir (my first time w coco). One is in w the mother plants and one is w the autos.
Plan is to switch autos and one photo clone to 12/12 once i see the clone growing a bit. I suspect the autos will be ok under the 12/12 for their last 2-4 weeks of bloom…???….

the other photo clone will then move to the 12/12 room once i harvest the autos so itll have 2-4 weeks of veg time.
Next i will clone the grandaddy purple mother when she hits day 60 in the next couple of weeks.
Etc etc etc.

I have beginner hydro questions. I need to transplant from clone machine (spinner) to my dw hydro buckets. Net pot is 6 inches. It looks like I'll need lots of clay pebbles beneath the plants. Then what about the water level since the plants will be high up in the pot. I may need more than an inch above net pot? Should the water level come up to the bottom of the plants. Using air stones. 5 gal bucket. Picture of my best one.

Imo, you should have the water level just at or slightly below the roots during this stage. If your air stone is able to create popping bubbles on water surface, that is sufficient to splash the roots, which will eventually be mostly submerged in the water. That bottom layer of hydroton will retain moisture enough also. Again, just my opinion. I know there are threads here that address water level in dwc, so id advise reading through them and happy growing. If i can help further, just ask. :Namaste::ganjamon::hookah::ganjamon::Namaste:

Haven't seen you in a bit.
Hope everything is good with you.
Ladies are looking fantastic.
Even have the obligatory nute burnt tips. :thumb:
I do see a little light yellow on a couple leaves.
Did you change your nutrient regime at all?
Bill
Oh yeah how is the golf game this year ?

Hey @Bill284 Good to hear from ya. Golf is a constant struggle… kinda like getting nutes and ph right. The autoflower has been an adjustment. Also, two if those plants ate my first coco runs, so im trying to dial that in. I had been running everything at 50% nute, but the photos seemed to need a bit more during flowering so ive just bumped them up. The auto is my second gorilla glue. First one was decent in yield and quality. This one seems to be very similar. She got switched from 18/6 to 12/12 though when i put the photos to flower, so shes got slightly smaller buds and taking a lil longer to ripen, but …. Its all an experiment. Like my golf swing. I bet the weather in Canada is perfect for golf right now!!

It is nice buddy.
Unfortunately I'm not allowed to pick up a club ever again.
Probably for the best.
Stay safe .
