Hardwater Problem?

I understand that if you have hard water you need to use some type of nute like micro hardwater, but what do you add to the water when you are not adding any nutes? Especially in the begining when you go strait water for the first 4 or 5 weeks.
Also, does hardwater cause a lower ph in the soil?
I have done exactly that and they are in the second week of flower and my runoff ph is 5, I just wondered if this could be the reason?

Good question. I have no clue. My only suggestion is to purchase a reverse osmosis system.

I would suggest a Reverse osmosis system as well. I bought one for around 180$ and it gets my water to 0ppm from 350+ppm city water
