Harvesting for edibles.

Hello all, I hope I'm in the right forum. As even vaping makes me cough now, I am going to give edibles a try. My question is regarding harvesting the plants for edibles, do you just pull off the fan leaves and leave it at that or do you do a full trim and then have both bud and trim to make edibles with. Not having to do a thorough harvest / trim would be fantastic, not my favourite job.

When I do a fresh harvest oil I pull the big fans, and maybe any non sugar leaves, depends on the strain


But I agree a fresh harvest oil is really nice, just remembered there is more water in it so plan accordingly
