Harvesting top canopy

Was wondering if you guys recommend, or if u guys ever harvested the top of the canopy first, and left the lower growth there for more time in order to develop more? I wanted to do that with my plant, as i have a lot of lower growth that arent nearly as developed as the top ones, what do u guys think? Thanks.

Ricorico uses this technique and many others as well. Given the maturation rate being different in different area of the grow, it makes total sense to me.

Sup Spimp, yea ive been doing some reading, and i see a lot of ppl do that.. It does make sense, so what the hell, i guess ill give it a try
