Has anyone grown Crop King's Early Miss?

I ordered some of CK's Early Miss and am waiting on them. I got my grow space completed so now I am just looking forward to getting started. Has anyone ever grown this plant??? How did it go for you??? Any tips or tricks you found helpful that you could pass on to me??? How about any pics of your grow??

I am a newbie who is growing in order to have an unlimited supply of medicinal marijuana. I have Degenerative Disc Disease and am on copious amounts of narcotics to deal with the pain. My home state recently passed a medical marijuana bill so I could go to an exchange to get it, however it is VERY expensive. My only option is to grow my own medicine...Knowing that Indica dominant strains work best for pain relief led me to the Early Miss. It is supposed to be 60% Indica / 30% Sativa and 10% Rudy...If anyone else is a pain sufferer who has found relief from a certain strain please let me know!! I shouldn't have to recreate the wheel!!!

Hey buddy

I have met a friend on here who is growing early miss from CKS. I am growing nyc diesel and candy cane autos from CKS. Led light. Click on my journal thread there I cam introduce you to a great group of people I have met with awesome links and great support.

Ps I also suffer from DDD and going for Mri soon think I have neck or or muscle damage. The pain I live with everyday slows me back from. Living my life to the fullest. Yes dispenser s are bit pricey. Would love to hear more of your story .

I found my two best strains for relief were.
og kush. Candy cane from crop king autos helped a bit . Very nice relaxing high. Oil hash oil phoenix tears was great as well. I've heard best Syrians are

White widow
AK 47
OG kush
White rhino was strong too.

Smoking white cheese nukem and orange crush none of them are super good for back. White cheese I fine makes me lazy orange crush makes me hyper.

Nice to have a fellow DDD sufferer...I have had one fusion surgery in my cervical spine (level 6/7) and am doing all I can to avoid another surgery. I am NOT able to work and was deemed "disabled" back in 2014 and have been on disability ever since. I simply can not sit for any length of time as my discs get squished and the pain is intolerable...I see a pain specialist who prescribes medical cannabis however, obtaining it is just out of my ability to pay. (some of his patients pay up to $1000 a month for it). I simply don't have that kind of disposable income so I choose to be on narcotics...What i hate most of all with them is that I am a prisoner of them now as I have become so dependent on them...There is NO provision in the bill that was passed here to allow pain sufferers to grow their own, so I am doing it at my own risk. I had a contact in CO that was sending me an ounce of ChemDawg every month and it was from that that I realized cannabis can ABSOLUTELY treat my pain...FedEx intercepted a package and that was the end of that. Hoping that the Early Miss will do the same thing for me. I feel pretty confident that I can grow it as I have done a TON of research online to become a green thumb. And there are sites like this that are invaluable for teaching newbies on how to maximize the growing process!!!

No problem do you mind if I ask are you in USA or Canada? Me and you have very similar story. Except I drove a garbage truck for about 12-15 hrs a day average plus personal commute home was there and back about 4-7 hrs a day. So figure my sleep. My DDD was active I smoked pot well working heavily for over a year well do I g thus drive and job. The pain I went through felt like my back was going going to snap in half. Spine. Always trying to Crack it all day. Discomfort pain. Massage therapy helped for two days. Chiro no luck cracking the easiest spots. Even they said back was screwed and my job is only making it worse. Sitting using the big claw arm joy stick to pick up bins. My family doctor said no he didn't support long term effects. I went looking elsewhere as 240 200 $ ounce were killing me. As I needed this just to survive a day. I to am using my own risk and would have ad damn good fight in court if pursued. As now found ad doctor who is helping me get prescription. Permit to grow. I can't afford 100-200+$ ounce dispenseries. Not with the amount needed to provide the relief I need. Anyways. DDD sucks the life out of you. I told my wife I don't choose to smoke it choose me. Provides relief. I'm going massage therapy is helping every three weeks but 140$ bills every time there no benefits hurts. Sad we have to be rich in order to live and take care of our bodies as we get old. I don't sell I'll personal smoke.

I am in the Mid-West of the U.S.

I tried to score some weed on the black market but I kept getting ripped off. Either I was paying WAY too much for it or it was just very low quality Mexican stuff...I am sure there are suppliers out there, but I want the control over what goes in my body. If I can grow an Indica strain that has 20% THC levels I am WORLDS ahead of anything that is available out there!! I am NOT growing it to sell, so I am looking at a very small grow. Besides, I only have room for 2, maybe 3 plants at a time. I just need a small amount for myself...
 
After going for enjoyment for years I'm now growing for medical reasons. I have spinal stenosis which caused lots of nerve pain. Still working on finding more strains that help it. Mostly sativa strains are working pretty good for me. Keeps my head in the clouds and not dwelling on the pain.

I have some anxiety issues so I don't like the Sativa strains. (maybe I just never tried some GOOD stuff!!) The "UP" high messes with me...That's why I am trying to stick with the Indica...
 
Early Miss is a decent strain. I have probly grown out 10 of them. Relaxing smoke not overly strong. On the road right now but I can post more later. These are both early miss. Soil grow.

No they were 18/6 just never up potted it. Though I have grown ones in soil from seed in 5 gal buckets under 18/6 and they didn't get much bigger. Seems very in consistent size wise. That's why I won't run autos anymore.

Thanks for the pics!! How many grms do you normally get from the Early Miss (from each plant)??? I was interested in you comment that you will no longer be doing any more auto's...Why exactly is that???
 
I've grown Early Miss a few times. I'm growing one now and you can see it on the grow journals forum. You can also check my past grows from CropKing--White Widow and EM. My preference is for White Widow (fem but not autos.)

Early Miss is a good choice for a fast growing plant: CropKing says 8 weeks but I've never heard of anyone finishing that fast.

Early Miss has fairly high THC content (20%) which I like but honestly, it is so low in CBD (0.04%) that I doubt it's the best choice for pain relief.

CropKing has a CB Dutch Treat with very low THC 4% but also a very high CBD 8%---if pain relief was my concern I'd grow the Dutch as well as the Early Miss.

I looked at the CB Dutch Treat and I saw that it is a Sativa so I didn't bother...Besides, I want more than 4% THC!!! I like that the Early Miss has 20%. And the description of the plant says it is good for pain, so that is the one I wanted to try.

Here's a question for the greater crowd...And I would LOVE it if the EXPERTS would chime in...What makes the SINGLE most impact for growing plants that have maybe 2oz per plant (like these) to plants that produce say 6 or 7oz??? That is in no way a slam on these plants as I will be VERY happy if I can get 2 ozs off of my first grow, but I would be MUCH happier if I could more per plant...What do you think???
 
I would say average 1oz across all the plants. Some more some way less... The last ones I grew did not get really big and are just sitting jarred up to make oil out of when I need it.

The reason I won't run auto's anymore is I want full control of the plant in veg and full control when I want the plants to begin flowering! Then you take into account the ability to clone and not have to buy auto seeds every grow etc. List goes on and on why I will not run auto's anymore!

I am no expert but what makes the difference in a 1oz plant vs a 10oz plant is experience, to put it VERY simply.
 
My Early Miss also never finish anywhere near 8 weeks. Finishing at week 11 or 12 you might as well run photo period plants IMO, they are not that much quicker!

The reason I asked that question is because I spent HOURS going through the thread showing pics of everyone's "cream of the crop"...I absolutely understand it is experience, but if someone with experience grows the Early Miss from CK, could they REALLY get 10oz per plant??? Maybe the autos are the problem...I would rather not have to grow and grow and grow 2 or 3 plants for THREE months only to get an oz off of them...Shit!! I want to be able to get maybe 3 or 4 ozs from each plant. I think I have a good idea on how to do it and I have invested about $1500 on all of my hardware and supplies. I am just waiting on the seeds...Some of the pics in that thread said they were getting THIRTEEN ozs from ONE plant!!!
