Has somebody tried switching back to 20/4 after flowering?

What would it do to switch back to longer light period once flowering is "stable" (ie after "pre-flowering pistil buttons") ?

Would it help buds getting fatter faster ?

Imagine you had a bad summer (clouds, storms etc , so not much light)
and then sun is back in fall. What does it do in nature / outdoor ?

cheers

Well out doors in nature & not enough sun light hours etc prolongs harvest time or time for the buds/flowers to form up well, ye crap summers slow stuff down as well as cold springs to when you might want to plant out etc... cloudy summers ah well ya still getting a diluted amount of sunshine through those clouds perhaps not enough for ideal growing conditions but that is just the roll of dice out door growers take ! not that you need 12/12 for out door plants :thumb:

In doors is a controlled environment & providing you have suitable light source pumping out enough of the good stuff ya just fine, but messing with light timing whilst in flower may stress the girls out causing them to go hermie at worst or just stressed may produce some seed in the bud.

It can cause the plants to reveg, which prolongs/delays flowering.
