Hash Then RSO?

So I have about a half pound of trim (popcorn buds and sugar leaves) set aside. Was gonna make either dry ice hash (in a 73 micron bag only) or RSO. But now I'm wondering if I can do both? What I'd like to try is just a single pass through the 73 micron bag, then re-use the trim to make RSO. In your valued opinion, will I get a HUGE decrease in yield for the RSO if I do it this way? I really like hash, but my friends want me to make them some cartridges from the RSO.

The more hash you sift, the less RSO you'll get. Rather than putting it all through the screen for hash, why not just put enough through to get what you want. The remainder can go for RSO, as well as the leavings from your hash sifting.

But now I'm wondering if I can do both?

If you use the leftover from your hash production for a solvent wash, only the least ripe trichome heads will be remaining. I'm not sure that would produce a good product. I would suggest splitting up your harvest instead.

Throw in a 45m bag and send me what would have washed through your 73m bag :)
