No change in light height or power level
PH dropping but falls within acceptable range when topped up with tap water each day. PH down at res change has been reduced from 50ml to 40ml and will reduced to 35ml at the next res change.

More defoliation has been done above the screen to allow more light to bud sites and increase air flow.

Last night at 0200 we lost power and it came back on at 1900 this evening. So the Hawaii Maui Waui will have missed an entire lights on cycle. I entered the area and reset all the timers to the correct time and pretty much left things unchanged.
The res. seemed fine even without the air pump. I guess it being pitch dark kept the bad stuff from growing.

I was quite worried about the plants, but they looked healthy tonight.
Res. change tomorrow with pics.

The extra darkness period will not effect plants already in flower... they just got a rest from photosynthesis.

Res. change- 100% of recommended dose of GH three part liquid nutes for Mid Bloom for 18gal.
35ml PH down, 60ml Cal-mag+, 30ml Kool Bloom.

Light- 475w out of 600w 28" from screen, measured 52k lux at canopy

No apparent damage from electric loss Tue. 0200 till 1700 Tuesday.

I have let these girls go. No more tucking and tying. I wish I'd gotten the whole screen filled but I should get bud from them. I just hope I can keep enough air flow on them
Just waiting on a Dabpress I ordered that supposed to come today. I've never done rosin. I've got a good bit of Black Domina to learn how on. I bet the Hawaii Maui Waui will taste good. It already has a good smell to it. Kinda citrusy.

I am letting these girls loose now. No more tucking and tying.

No changes in light height or power level.

The PH has been drifting downward and just topping up with tap water is no longer enough to keep it in the 5.5-6.0 range. I have now started adding 5-7ml of PH up when needed.

They are looking great!

I think the strain is more typically spelled Maui Wowie, but it's also spelled Maui Waui.

I think the breeder gave it the three word name to show that it was not the original but a mix of Hawaiian genetics, Hawaii Maui Waui. From what I've read the original was spelled Maui Wowie but they are all pronounced the same. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Pakalolo was introduced to Hawaii in the 1820s by whalers, but it wasn't until the 60s and 70s when surfers brought indica seeds from the hash trail, and sativa's from Mexico and interbred them that the weed got really good. Unfortunately operation green harvest in the 80s and 90s was very successful and all but wiped out a lot of those original strains, spraying crops with dyed petrol from helicopters and such. It's hard to find the real thing these days.

These three plants are cuttings from the same mother. They didn't stretch as expected. They were supposed to have "wide spacing between nodes during a one month stretch." :hmmmm:

Day 41 since flip.

Res. change
Mostly recommended amounts of GH 3 part liquid nutes for Mid Flower. I reduced the amount of Growth(green nitrogen) by half and reduced the amount of Bloom(pink, PK) by 25ml and added 30ml of KoolBloom.
Added 35ml of PH down and 60ml of Cal-mag+.

Lights power value unchanged at 475w out of 600w. Light height raised to 30" above screen to provide optimal light to edges of screen. Measured 50k lux at canopy top.

Put the ACs in recirc. mode to lower humidity and all fans running at max.
