Hey there! I’m a little late to the journal party, but I’ll stick to the idea of, better late than never. Here’s the info with a little catch up photo sequence. Join me, always learning and getting better!

Let’s see, I’ve got 2 mango kush, planted on 7/3/18.
Right now I’m at about 3 weeks into flowering.
I’m a goof ball so my plants are named Marlin and Nemo.
Topped - Marlin twice, Nemo once, also used some LST to prep for under the net
ScrOG net
5 gallon smart-pots
Using a coco/soil blend with about 25% pearlite added
400w LED
3x3 tent in my closet
6” intake and outtake fans plus one small oscillating below and two clip ons up top.
Using general organics biothrive bloom, CaMg+ and Bio bud at the ‘light dosage’ recommendation.

Glad to have some company with me on this now, flying solo is tough!
Here are some pics through veg.

Here’s some pictures after the switch to 12/12 up to where I’m at current day. Marlin is on the left and was topped twice. Nemo is on the right and topped only once because she was behind. The one on the right has been slow since the beginning. I had to prop her up so that she could reach the net and match up with sister better.

I’ve done some defol, but no clue what I’m doing so I’ve tried to keep it to a minimum.

I’m happy to hear from you guys! Any and all advice welcome.

I realize it’s tough to see, but I’ve got a real shine happening on one of my plants. The other doesn’t have it so, weird. I’m thinking it could be a phosphorus deficiency? I dropped my ph to around 6.5 for the last feeding. This happened once before during veg, but until that point I hadn’t been checking my ph. As soon as I started adjusting ph, the shine went away. Hoping it will straighten out and I’m all ears for advice.

OMG, I got a first row seat...hope you don't mind me sitting in. Flying solo sucks so lets see if we can get some people like @Mr. Magoo and maybe @Wookie0586 ...I know @Dutchman1990 would love to see a new grow. I can only imagine @ProfessorFlora would love to stop by because I think he(she?) is growing in coco.

Finally lets see what we can do about that shine. I'll make a new post for that.

Lol, I'm a he but I can see where you are coming from with a name like "Flora". I'm definitely in though! :)

OK I just seen you dropped your pH to 6.5. What were you pH'ing it at. Best for soilless/coco/hydro (you are a mix) is around 6.0. No lower than 5.8 regardless what others tell you about locking out Calcium at 6.0.
Thanks for calling in the troops! I’ve been pHing between 6.5 and 7 as best as I can tell with drops. The soil I bought was the blend, so I sure made it a little tougher on myself for the first go round! I just added the pearlite. I’ve got my lights (LED) about 25” away from my taller buds. And I’m watering with the “light dosage” suggestion on the bottle, one gallon for both plants, every other day. Around week one of bloom, I started using the full ‘light dose’ before that I was only using half of that suggestion/gallon. I hope that makes sense!

OK good, I think the pH is still to high. What do you pH at Flora? Everything else looks good in there though. Well done.
thank you, I’ll drop it a bit more for the next watering. I tried ph around 6.0-6.5 in veg and it seemed too low. Does that change between veg and bloom? I also added some Bio Marine to today’s watering in addition to my reg nutes, because it had some extra phosphorus in it.

It doesn't change from stage to stage, but I'm curious as to what signs you were seeing to think it seemed low...

To be honest in a soil grow I wouldn't be too worried about my ph going up to 7, my plants always liked it :)
Ya but he's in coco and soild blend, so 7 is OK for just soil, but 6-6.5 would be a good guess for his mix
