I was going to make some but just have a problem adding soil to a hydro system, so what I was thinking was adding the ancient forest to a zipper filter letting it sit in the soultion kinda of like a tincture will this theory work?

sure it will,most people just use panty hose
i like to cut a section of panty hose,tie a knot on one end--fill full of ancient forest--PUT air stone inside of panty hose-tie open end
then put into bucket, after the required mixing time i just pull the air line out of bucket,never any mess

yea same. I remove the end of an old leaf blower and put the panty hose around it. It holds it open very nicely to add the soil.
Then i reverse it to clean it. Put it the sink, stick the tube into the sock and then dump the soil right into the trash can. i then keep it on the tube and clean it and dry it for the next use!!! works like a charm every time
