Hello From Ontario Canada

Defoliated the girls and transplanted to 5 gal cloth pots. They seem to take both pretty well.

Not sure if this was answered but always cut lower leaves after third or fourth node has appeared. As soon as I did this my plants flourished and look a lot healthier again. The photo I shared is from 2 weeks ago.

Now that it is legal to do so, I decided to try to grow a few plants. I have 3 Bakerstreet Kush plants about 1 month from seed. I bought basic tent, lights, nutes etc and am making typical newbe mistakes but it is becoming a fun hobby. Hope to tap in to the great resources here along the way so I don't totally screw it up. lol

Hey pluto, how much wattage in those lights? Your ladies look nice, but they should be going crazy at 5 weeks :hmmmm:
I have a White Widow that's just 3 weeks and it's already starting to pop :slide: but I have a 1000 watt HPS in a 5 x 5 tent :thedoubletake:

Hey you're doing great :thumb: I started with CFLs in a closet :thedoubletake: and grew like that for many years :yummy: with decent results :slide: was just wondering :hmmmm: been looking at COBs and QBs but very expensive compared to HIDs o_O I have a 1000 watt dedicated for flower and a 600 watt for veg/flower and still a 400 watt home made CFL hood for veg

A bit late to this party, but wanted to stop by and say hi. Fellow Ontario grower here, and also a relatively new grower. Your plants are looking really healthy!

Question: I read some where that you do not count your weeks of flower from time switch but a few days to a week since? Was I dreaming this??? lol
I am not a big consumer. Back in the 70s an oz wouldn't last a week. Now a few grams a month. lol Size of yield does not concern me. I am looking at this as a fun hobby, Next grow will probably be only one plant and an autoflower. I was dreaming that this tent was going to hold four plants. One didn't make it and I gave one away once I knew that real estate was going to be an issue,

Nice plant you got there.

On Days of Bloom, I think the standard is to call Day 1 the first time you see pistils, which is usually about 5-10 days after flip to 12/12.

Question: I will probably store my yield for quite a long time. I will be curing using Mason jar burp method then use a humidity pack once moisture content has settled. I read that when curing and storing it should be air tight container, kept cool and little to no light.
Is there such a thing as dark colored mason jars or should I paint or electrical tape the outside?

I haven't seen tinted glass mason jars. But my plan is to use clear jars, and just store them in a card board box in the basement. Jars will block air, cardboard block light, and basement is relatively cool. Have you seen the "Ziggy Low and Slow" thread here on 420. It is full of info and cool tips.

I will check out the link for sure. Thanks for the tips
