I'm sure this is posted a lot so I apologize but it's my first time and I'm a bit anxious/wanting to do this the best I can. I'm thinking these are pretty much ready to chop but would really appreciate some advice from those more experienced! Thanks in advance! :)

No Mate - wait until the pistils turn orange
Early bud looks like crystals, then white, then darker
I harvest white, yours are still too clear by any standards
The dreaded 'couple of weeks' :hookah:

Thank you guys for the help!! I realized yesterday when I was thinking about it that the microscope pictures I had taken from lower buds not thinking. I took a few of some top ones and I'm seeing some amber. Should I still wait to see if they pack on more weight/swell more? Thanks in advance :)

Ok I just read that somewhere else too! I was confused about that because I thought you just automatically checked thrichomes towards the end regardless of how it looked. Good to know! thank you all for your help!!! I appreciate it a lot :) I'll let her keep going!!
Never harvest white pistils. :Namaste:
When they turn red and crinkle in is the time to check trics.
As that is happening she will gradually stop eating.
So keep an eye on the weight of your pots.
A flowering plant will drain her pot ever 2-3 days. Usually.
When flowering is finished it will take a week or more sometimes.
So if she is eating regularly she is still flowering and building buds for you.
Keep feeding until harvest and she will reward you. :high-five:

Thank you all again for being nice and helping! It seems as though even over the past few days they have put on a little more weight as a few more of the branches are now leaning and need propped up 😂 I'll continue to keep a close eye on them over the coming days! :)
I'm here to help with anything you need my friend. :Namaste:
Together we rise. :high-five:

Back with a little update! They've definitely swelled up some. One plant significantly more than the other for some reason. I'm thinking the one is ready and maybe I should let the other ride just a little longer? The one has next not know what hairs showing and feels much more dense than the other. What do you guys think? Thanks in advance! :)

This is plant #1 that I'm thinking is about ready:

This is plant #2 that I think feels like it could use more time still?

When all those white pistils turn red and crinkle in I start checking trics.
You have some time left to go my friend with both of them. :Namaste:
They are still building and putting on weight.
Patience will be rewarded.
Keep feeding until the end for max turps and thc.
Good work.

Geeeze, haha. Thank you guys!! I really appreciate you all taking the time to help me.

Would you say the 1st plant is at least close? It at least feels much more mature than plant 2. Id say at least 90% of the hairs have turned red/semi-curled on plant 1 and it feels significantly more dense. Unfortunately can't say the same for plant 2 yet.

I feel like everything I've read, where I live, these should be done by now. Could this be because our weather has been WAY warmer than normal this time of year? or could it be something else like I didn't give them as much nutrients as they needed earlier in flower? or even a mixture of both?

Is it possible that a plant never fully matures? or will they all given enough time?

I will say it's gonna be tricky as it looks like our weather is gonna start getting colder/rainier. I will keep em dry but juggling the frost is going to get rough if I still need to push these weeks more. I will do my best tho and make sure no frost touches the ladies :)

Thank you guys again! :):peace:

The one with the most white hairs is furthest from harvest.

Warm weather can make them take their time and develop more slowly.
A cold fall seamed to make 3 of mine finish fairly quickly.
But it's mostly controlled by light.
How long is the darkness where you are? Sun down to sun up?
They need darkness to finish faster.
When there isn't any light they build up a hormone inside that keeps them in flower.
Light dissolves this hormone disrupting flower
Is it completely dark at night?

Is it possible that a plant never fully matures?
Its possible but i doubt you have a problem.
or will they all given enough time?
Usually yes.
Some sativas seem to take forever but yours will finish soon.

A mild frost is usually not detrimental.
I've had snow and frost before a good harvest.
Thank you guys again! :):peace:
Keep feeding and watch for bud rot.
Your getting close.
