I need to confirm if its true, is it best to hang a large cfl horizontal or vertical because my freinds tent aint got enuff room to hang 2 cfls horozontally, theres 450 cfl one 300w and the 150w that needs room thank you for any help

You can mount squiggle bulbs however you want. But horizontal would be the way to go. Bigger spread.

Hes got a 200"x120"x120" and currently got both horizontal about 1-2ft from plants but feels like they not benefiting from both lights and dont wanna move lights further away surely thank you buddy

You can get stupid close with CFL's. Try
Moving them like 8-10" away and see if that helps. They are very under powered and the photons fall off fast.
