Help on grow medium mix

I have 1.5 cu ft of fox farm ocean forest potting soil + 1.5 cu ft of organic soil + and 16 qts of perlite I'm getting peat moss 2 morro I need to kno what measurement of stuff do I mix together. 10 plants in a Galllon buckets under a 1000w lights. Any help or critiques would help thanks

Does your other organic soil have Peat Moss or Perlite in it? I know the FFOF does. If so I wouldn't add any peat moss.

It doesn't have have perlite I kno for sure. But as far as the peat moss goes I'm not sure. But if it does and I don't need the peat moss should I mix the 3 materials together in a big tub and jus fill the 3 gallon buckets

FFOF Has Peat Moss In It.. IWould Just Mix Them Together. But Remember Perlite Basically Allows The RootS To Breathe. If It Was Me I Would Mix The 2 Soils First Then Add Perlite Until Its At a good Consistency Throughout Your pots

Ok thank bro. Are the 3 gallon pots good enuff or shud I jus go ahead and get 5 gallon pots

Im Not 100% Sure But I Think The 3 Gallons Should Be Enough.. But That Is Just My Opinion. I Will Be Starting In Small Pots And Transplanting To 1 Or 2 Gallon Pots..
