Hemp Greenhouse 2024 Fall Grow

Hey everyone

i found myself here daily for a good while during the beginning of my AS (ankylosing spondylitis) journey, started getting better, got worse, got better, got way worse..

anyways…10 months in on stem cells, been working my ass off, finally recovering from the last bad relapse. during my time away from here i filed for a hemp growers permit for my state, its a great option. i follow the rules and if i need to test i do it as the hemp laws state, 30 Days Prior To Harvest, so everything will be legal hemp thca.

currently i am growing:

Blueberry Muffins 1
Black Cherry Gelato 1
Point Break 1
Tangerine Dream Auto 2

All from purchased seed.

Point Break has something wrong with it as its a dwarf, keeping it going to learn and see if I can save it, though i doubt it.

Cover Girl (in tent and in flower)

Cover Girl is my own strain, sour diesel pollination to og kush, it absolutely incredible, its like og kush with fruity pebbles. why Cover Girl? shes easy, breezy….

currently i have 14 plants in stages from seedling to flower, 2 seeds germinating, 6 Tops from my 6 current plants in veg in the clone station.

My Greenhouse

12x22, decked up off ground, vevor u channel and greenhouse film, i basically built a pole barn off the back of an existing structure with a single pitch roof and closed it like a greenhouse. i have 6 2
1000 watt equivalent lights, four 20” vents fans built into the walls, two at the high point are blowing air out, two at low point are blowing air in. fans are automated to shut off at sunset to conserve heat, lights are also automated. i also have 4 fans inside the tent creating “wind”. i get everything to sip, nutes in soil, straight water in chute, i have water run to the greenhouse, with filtered inside greenhouse for watering.

its still archaic in here, getting it functional was goal 1, i brought my camping sleeping pad in yesterday and took a nap in here. its usually 60 degrees in am, 90 at peak, but always enjoyable because of the breeze.

as insane as all this sounds, 100% of this is for me. my condition is technically in end stage, yet i am still working everyday and not stopping any time soon. cannabis is like 1/3 of my med program, currently i consume an ounce every 4/5 days, so I need 100 ounces a year to not be stressed out about running out of flower and being sick. my hope is grow enough that o cam jar and save, always bee 1 year out, so save enough from this grow to get me all the way to the next season, then I will always be smoking dynamite cured flower.

Wow that’s a really nice greenhouse space!!

I smoke, use whats basically RSO that a buddy makes for me (use this in an electric dab vape), and gummies. through my business i now manufacture my own 25 mg THC Sativa & Indica gummies, along with Amanita Muscaria Gummies. I usually take either 2 or 4 gummies at a time, so 100 mg THC in one hit. I use to take 100 mg THC / 500 mg CBD at once when i was full fledge AS relapse, i have since nearly eliminated CBD from my med program entirely.

but at the end of the week, i will smoke an ounce to an ounce an half….all with zero buzz sure makes me feel better though.

I am a big fan of LST, basically all my tent grows i used the LST method. I was not sure if I would let these plants run and get super tall, if I would LST them, just had to see what they were gonna do in open space.

I’m working on keeping all the branches parallel with the ground on these two plants, blueberry muffins and lemon cherry gelato, 10 nodes total and I have the tops in the clone machine. my hope is to get branches at each new leaf on the branches, let them all stretch as we go into fall, i will flip the lights to 12/12 after the days shorten. so hopefully by then i will have walls of flowers

Also, just germinated 3 Tropicana Cherry seeds, one is already sprouted and off.

I'm interested to see if leaving that amount of nodes, training sideways and defoliating including fan leaves will result in any height reduction with your set up

Do you have a Width goal before flipping ?

Are your lights on during the day ? Do you take par or lux readings ?

I've been measuring seedling/plant age/par readings more carefully with my current grow...

Howdy. do you mean for the pictures of the plant in the tent?

when i was doing tent grows i would LST everything, bend the plant down, control the branches, keep the canopy as level as possible, and you get a whole shit ton of “main colas”, each branch will produce like its the top of the plant.

my greenhouse actually has a roof on it, so i have lights inside and let the plants get natural light thru the windows.

i am not taking any readings at all, just watching the plants and seeing what makes them happy vs unhappy.

But your overall plant height will have increased by the distance from the third to tenth node compared to a quadline.

i will end up with more tops than nodes due to the branches that grow of the main branches. if i can get three branches per branch, 10 nodes could be 60 tops.

that is roughly where i am with Cover Girl in the tent.

yes, i am running lights 16 hrs a day right now, dropped from 18 as my ENTIRE back yard is lit like a friggin ufo landed…so i am running 5am-9pm. i will veg for probably 30 more days and switch to 12/12 when the days are shorter, will also put black out curtains in to ensure darkness (light deprivation).

now that I have a hemp retail license I can purchase top-tier medical grade hemp at wholesale. purchased a pound of Tropicana Cherry, what a fantastic strain, what a fantastic purchase. Thus far I have found six seeds at all germinated and sprouted extremely quickly

Let’s see what these guys do.

The other two plans are Cover Girl clones (my own strain, sour diesel/OG Kush)

Tropicana Cherry: I did not grow this I purchased it. Checked out at 30.56 THCA, taste like sunny delight and tart cherries effects are extremely cerebral and uplifting with extreme chest and shoulder effects. My buddies say they get body tingles, for me I get anti-inflammatory effects in my chest and shoulders, along with the general uplifted feeling like my serotonin increases. If half of the six sprouts or female I would say this is the best purchase I ever ever made.

the end game is frame up a partition wall and have one section 100% blacked out, one for long veg periods and one for plants in flower.

19 plants total, 10 in here i believe, 9 more in a tent on 18hr light schedule, slowing dropping down my lights from 18 hr to 12 hrs.

Fall fell way faster than expected and we have had 2 nights that we 40 and 39, i havent yet insulated the floor, which is decked up off the ground.

we called in the Gumby Corps of Engineers for emergency heating, insulating and sealing the floor structure tomorrow.

hopefully i can turn these girls bCk cause currently they are very unhappy.

First half of the work of sealing the floor with this temporary top snd two oil heaters.

tomorrow i am screwing insulation 4x8 board to the bottom of the deck joist, that will give me a sealed 8” air gap between earth and floor where the plants are.
