The International Cannabis Business Conference is set to repeat on past success with the announcement of Henry Rollins as the keynote speaker to their upcoming event.

The punk rock icon and cannabis law reform advocate will speak in detail at the San Francisco ICBC in February, The ICBC website announced on Tuesday.

While not a cannabis user himself, Rollins has expressed his support for cannabis law reform through his popular column running in LA Weekly, as well as by exposing the truth behind the history of marijuana through his now-defunct History Channel docuseries, "10 Things You Don't Know About."

"Henry Rollins is a name recognized through countless and widely-varied circles of artists, scholars, and political animals of many stripes," said Alex Rogers, lead producer of the ICBC, in a statement. "Henry has continued to push himself forward and to the brink physically, intellectually, emotionally, and in terms of social awareness over the past several decades. He is an out-of-the-box thinker who has been way ahead of his time on many social justice issues."

The announcement of Rollins continues the ICBC's streak of inviting prominent speakers such as former Surgeon General Joycelyn Elders, political author Andrew Sullivan and travel guru Rick Steves.

Rollins is scheduled to appear at the San Francisco ICBC on February 17. Tickets are available now.
