few quick questions with regard to this.
is there a difference between a male or female turned hermie?
what is the likely development of any germinated seeds?
this would be the info i would be considering if i had hermies.
How could 30 be herm, do you mean 30 are male? If they are 30 herms I would think you have a serious problem with light penetration during your dark cycle, some source of a large amount of stress on your plants. Also if your a first timer be sure you are sexing them correctly.
So if a third of your plants turned herm you blame the seeds? I was under the impression extreme stress caused herms?
90 plants, 1/3 hermis ? WOW! Pics?
And more info.
GENETICS AND SEX IN CANNABIS.
Sex is an inherited trait in Cannabis, and can be explained in much the same terms as human sexuality can. Like a human being, Cannabis is a diploid organism: its chromosomes come in pairs. Chromosomes are microscopic structures within the cells on which the genes are aligned. Cannabis has 10 pairs of chromosomes (n=10), for a total of 20 chromosomes (2m=20).
