High Brix Kit 4 Strains QB 288 & 132s With EOD & Emerson Lights In A 6x4 Sealed Room

Yep. Airstone under a dome. Coveredin perlite. Helps with the keeping the roots happy. 80s is kinda warm for the roots and with CO2 they don’t get the air they need. So I put the air pump outside the room. I never worry about over watering. Lol. QUOTE="Amy Gardner, post: 4482368, member: 298457"]
Looks like a happy plant Hbbotany! Can you tell me why there is a cable coming out of the pot? I saw you mention airstones but didnt think i they were for the pot :hmmmm: You have an airstone in the bottom?
[/QUOTE]

Seriously, I’m using docbudshighbrix so I’m not flushing constantly. Less wasted water. But when I was flushing the airstone made the difference. 15gal through a pot. I’d leave 2-3 in the container after and the plant/humidity would soak it up in a day or 2. Water when it’s dry. The bottom of the pot with the perlite is solid roots like a hydro unit. With a dome shape .

I get that way the last couple weeks of bloom. I open the door and just stare at stuff ... :bongrip:
I think I'll go do that right now ... :cheesygrinsmiley:

Anyone else get butterflies on the way to the grow room. I can’t ever put a camera in there. I’d stare at it all the time. Although time lapse would be cool.
I have a timelapse app downloaded onto an old cellphone that I've been playing around with. Its really quite cool. I cant figure out how to post the videos here tho....

322 watts that’s CO2 controller, 2 fans and 2 lights. 2 more lights added next week. I’ll plug the whole room into the kila watt to show total watts and amps tomorrow if I have time. Cooking soil tomorrow!!!! Topped one of them. Lights at 75% leaves nice and big, nodal space 1”.

What does docbuds say how to know when buds are ready?
I’ve heard it said that with the DBHBB kit there isn’t much THC degradation to CBN - so ambers don’t show up to help harvesting decisions, which is how many people do it (ratio of amber).

From what I’ve seen, been told, and my limited experience, I’d say you look for a combination of things:
  • Cloudy/milky trichomes (not to many clear)
  • No more new pistil hairs
  • Slowing down on water needs (not drinking)
  • And a general overall ripe appearance (recognising this just comes with time I think)
Best harvest time is usually a window of time, then it’s just about need, opportunity and preference.
:Namaste:

Thanks Amy!

Younger plants will have lower readings, typically in the 7-10 range.

Once they start blooming, that should rise to 12-15. If you can get them to 18+, you're in for a real treat. There's nothing like it. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Size isn't so important. It's more a matter of health. I've had plants in veg as high as 12.

Putting a net on tomorrow hopefully. Making another light tonight!!!!.

Just 1 day wow. I turned up temp just now. IR is 86!!! I turned lights up node spacing is stretching too much. CO2 is at 800ppm starting to dry more. Hopefully I can water tomorrow. I defoliate flower leaves. About a baseballs amount form the 4 total.
Opinions on every other watering. Since it’s been 8days since a drench, just keep to the schedule? Or do the next drench?
