High Pressure Aeroponic Grow

:surrender:I have some horrible news guys & girls, turns out, both my plants are true hermaphrodites. They are shooting out mainly flowers but I've noticed a few nut sacks forming. Makes total sense since I got the seeds from bag seed. Bag seed = hermie plants. Fyi for anyone who didn't know. You might get lucky with a bag seed that shows only female traits , but the trans gender will always be in its genetics, unless of course it turned tranny via stress. That's a whole different story. So long story short, I'm throwing these two plants out. I hate to say so, but it's true. Rule #1 kids, if you're going to start a grow, start with good genetics. I can't risk budding them out because they will spread pollen to every nook and cranny in my tent, Which will taint my future grows. I hate the fact that it has to come down to this, but there's no other option. Instead of just tossing them in the garbage, I'm going to throw them outside in a greenhouse, and let nature take its course. Ill probably end up using the bud for hash anyway

Is it possible to pluck the sacks as they form? It's only two plants!!!

Terrible horrible news. But at least it wasn't a total waste. I was able to dial in my system & worked out alot of kinks. Also learned alot of preventative measures to work with too. This next grow will be insane. I'll post a few informational pictures of the current plants. Give you an idea of what a hermie looks like.<for anyone who doesn't know) & also I'll upload some shots of my root chambers. If you like root porn stay tuned lol

It is possible, i've done it in the past with only one plant. But it was a hassle. & I don't really want to risk infecting my future grows. All it takes is one spec of pollen and BOOM! You got seeds

I agree with you but also don't after every grow i bleach my entire tent and that way no problems with next run bc of previous runs. So its up to you to chop suey them. I would run them out personally you can get nice buds still and just keep pulling pollen sacks even tho they cone back you might get minimum seeds

Well I took the plants out. I didnt want to deal with all the potential headaches. In my case, it's not as easy as just cleaning / disinfecting the tent. I have the exhaust fan just blowing into the room instead of directly outside so id have to completely spray down that room, which is virtually impossible for me lol. currently on the hunt for some new flavors. Mostlikely going to grow platinum OG next from clones. I ended up just throwing the plants outside in a greenhouse. They should do great out there, the transplant didn't effect that at all surprisingly. Time to let nature takes its course! I'll get those pics of the roots uo soon
