High Stress & Other Training With Defoliation: Starting Indoor, Finishing Outdoor, First Time To Buy Seed, Somewhat A Newbie Cannabis Grower

Alright no pics, just to much to going on. I stopped GLR yesterday night bc I was wore out and didn’t wake up lol. So checking the plants this evening all are pistoling up. I have some in different time frames but majority that where reveggin have started over nicely and the ones clearly in veggin are transitioning nicely. I will get to see a variety of differ causes with these plants.

Note these plants have went from flowering to veg so many times it got hard to keep track with. Matured root bound plants are hard to reveg or keep vegging and especially it didn’t help being later in the season. Next year root bound will not be an issue earlier in the season.

Well I’ll be heading to Cali Monday till Saturday, should be a fun week.

It’s just a over priced stated that’s filled with too many democratic lol nothing to special. Just going to hang out with family at the beach, ride some quads in the desert and then hike some in threw mountains to look at the trees. Hopefully I can get a few outdoor growers to let me pick their brains, but we will see my luck.

Lol I’m just messing with y’all, I have a bunch of family there. Plus I’m not political anyways, my family there are democratic and I just like given y’all hell. California is very beautiful, stayed with my cousin in Yucaipa and went to the creek and big falls. Then went to Laguna Beach, top of the world, Huntington Beach and Crystal Cove. Went to the casino and swam in the pool with the kids and all girls. Then finally made it to the desert but just did off-road didn’t take the toys out there.

So on a side note I ate my first eatables, the chocolate chip cookies was 350mg. So we ate a half dollar size pieces and it took will power to get up and do things lol. My cousin was couch locked and she said never again, it was priceless.

I learnt a lot and got to talk to different people from the dispensary side to the grow. From the pros to cons on different situations all the way to the regulation. It’s funny to see the culture is still the same from legal to not and how it’s still frowned on to do it in public. It was a very interesting trip and well worth it.

Since I got back I’m really glad I have the more clayier soil which my girls didn’t wilt from not getting watered but definitely need to be feed.

Can't quite tell, but it looks like either eggs or hatchlings. Unless they're ladybug hatchlings/eggs, I'd say it's probably best to get rid of 'em. Insects tend to lay their eggs on the food they eat.

Your grow looks fantastic. I think those might be tick eggs... Regardless I would remove that leaf and burn it with lot's of fire.

Got some LST done need to more. Wanted to defoliate but could but the girls that are in a month of flowering are already to thick so I did some trimming to let sun and air in.

From the bigger plants, well the ones I lst got really huge from the stretch. I can only imagine what I would have if I didn’t lose the month and they did flower early then had to reveg. Next year might be insane and I’ll hit my goal or higher.

Well got me a bit of bud rot and caterpillars on some of the girls, so I tried opening them up and removing all the bad. Got some organic sprays for a variety of bugs and diseases etc. sprayed last Sunday and looks to have help with airing the bud cluster out. I can say that’s one thing I don’t like about reveg bc it’s just a compact mess if it don’t veg again long enough to get some separation. So from the pics you can see the lst and I have don’t a large defo to open them up tremendously. I haven’t Defoed the larger plants just letting them do their thing at the moment. So I have plants at all different stages now which is packing the data for well need experience knowledge. My luck this year was poor on having things done to transplant. We I can see a lot pros and cons and really excited for next year but I am really curious to see what I harvest this year tho.

Right on, next year I believe I will be able to grow some huge plants. I wanted to be able to use a the fencing but I didn’t get that far with the root bound girls transplanted a month late. Only can get better from here

really excited for next year but I am really curious to see what I harvest this year tho.

My guess is you might average 8 - 10 oz per plant this year. Which is pretty good for what they went through.

next year I believe I will be able to grow some huge plants.

I think if you want large plants next year, you should do less pruning (less stress). Since you are outdoors, I feel there is little need to defoliate except for the very bottom and insides of the plants. More leaves = more food for the plants.

Thanks @BeezLuiz i really like the feed back. Well this is high stress with defoliation journal lol. But I totally agree. I’ll be re-ordering the same seeds and starting over. I got a good feel for growing them and now to adjust what I learnt. I kinda want to try other strains as well. But we will shall see, I’m ok with whatever I get.

O remember when you look at the pics those beds are 5’x5’x2’ for comparison.

Here is some pics of random plants from one of my smaller girls and more of the larger girls. You can even see my mistreated clones I had. A lot died in one of the storms that came threw but the strong ones survived lol. I keep 14 C1 cuts inside for mother’s leaving me with 2 of each strains. Going to grow some C2 clone up for the winter. I’ll get pics of them later.
