I ran them before and found you get less yield as the glass takes some of the spectrum out, i know you cant compare yields, but from 3-4 separate grows iv found to create more yield with open barn shields, a few other growers have the same opinion, but each to there own, i suppose you need them if you have temp problems, so you could of actually got 50+oz with open barns.

I have just started germinating them, what do they stretch like? double or maybe more? planning on growing them in a 4x4 tent 3 lots of 3 in 10-12L fabric pots, lolly popped, im wanting minimum 2oz plants, this and a 4x8 tent will be the last grow of the year and for most of next year, so yield is a must, just going to leave them untrained un-topped as i think it could be possible to create 2oz colas and anything else is a plus.

I dont have any experience doing a whole grow with open reflectors... but the hoods run so cool that you can have the lights about 4" away before burning them, which in my mind, as long as your canopy is even should translate to more yield then having the lights further away. But I guess I wont know until I try... the hoods also take up alot of room, without them i could easily get 3 x 600w in there with open hoods

The pheno I have stretches about 300%.. as long as you dont have any issues you should have no problem hitting the 20oz mark

300% Will be good enough for me, there still on being germinated now so lets say a good 28-30 days veg, so if i flip them at around 10" tall, so when they are finally in flower a nice 24-30" will do just fine.

So i have found my camera and im sorry i could not show any of you the start of flowering, my health has not been the greatest.

So the flowering plants i have in are 2 northern Lights, 1 Critical and 5 Super Skunk starting week 6 of flower tomorrow, 1 Super Skunk that will be starting week 9 of flower, going to run that one till the rest come down so hoping for pretty much 100% amber trichs.

I also have another 4 O.G. Kush and 4 Northern Lights that im mainlining to create 16 colas, they have 4 weeks remaining of veg with needing once more topped and there ready for flower.

Iv got 9 seeds germinating as we speak, 8 White Widow x BigBud and Peyote Critical that have popped so i will put them in pots tomorrow and i plan to veg them till the 20-27th of August, i was planing on putting them in 3 rows of 3 to get 9 main colas to hopefully create 2oz each plants, anything else is a given.

So these are the plants i have in flower at the moment, im hoping for 30-40oz from this garden grow which will put me at around 50oz, then another 2 garden grows to hopefully take me over 100oz year target.

So im going to use these but does anyone no if they need to go in straight away, just so i can avoid root damage, the top ring is 220mm and i have 600x600mm area per plant so at least i can tie 6-8 in the outside of top ring then support the other 8-10 with ties to the top ring.

So a little update, i potted all 9 seedlings up, nice vibrant white hairs, 1 or 2 looked a little weird but we shall see how many break coco surface.

Finally topped all 4 O.G. Kush and 4 Northern Lights so they will all have around 16 main stems, so just need to keep them all the same canopy height.

Started week 6 of flower today with the 5 Super Skunk, 2 Northnern Lights and 1 Critical, 2 more weeks of nutrients and 1 week of water then harvest.

You have alot going on... I wish I had more room for more tents ..dont we all haha

I'd say as long as the height of those tomato trainers isnt going to affect your light height then get them in as soon as possible.

High I have OG Kush and Skywalker Kush 55 days in flowering today. Hoping to go until mid August or earlier. Did some training, lots of super cropping and tomato cages like you showed earlier. Will get current pictures toward the weekend. I don't mean to clutter up your thread.

Hello Jax!

They look very well, whats there trichs look like? my O.G. Kush have are in there final veg and recovery period, 3-4 more weeks then they will be put into flower.

Little update, iv potted my 9 seedlings, there only small 250ml pots, will leave them in there for a week or 2 then put them in there final 12L pots.

Taken 4 Northern Light clones to root and veg for a few weeks and flip them to flower around the 20-27th of August, they will only be small plants when i flower them but there going in a 1x1m tent under a 400-600w hps, i was even thinking of running them in bubblers but im very uneducated on full water hydro and as this is my last run for a while i think ill just keep it simple, 10oz would be nice from them but time will tell once again.

Struggling with the heat today hitting 30.4-6c having to dim lights, this heat is a nightmare, anyone have any ideas on how to cool rooms down in this hot weather? my exhaust pipe goes out my room and into another room.

Little update, the seedling i put in this morning have already grew an inch, shown true new leaves and already started its first leaf after that developing, Female Seeds Company have my look like great fast genetics already!

So iv bought a mars hydro 720w LED light to run in the 1x1 tent for the 4 Northern Lights clones im growing, heard some mixed reviews but its my last run and id like to give LED at least a go.

What are peoples thoughts if anyone reads this.

Im thinking of running a 1000w in a 4x4 tent, it may be in an open hood or a cool hood, this will be for the 9 plants im growing in there, so 2oz is possible we know that, but what about 4oz per plant with this light? no idea if 4oz colas are even possible in that space.

They will have 4 weeks veg from today as they are starting there 1st new leaf node, 12L pots, 3 different root enhancers to help fill root mass.

If its possible i wont do the 4 Northern Light clones as this will be more than enough.

High that should be a good light. I have always been a mh and hps grower, but switched to all Leds about a year ago due to higher than high electric bills. I have been very pleased with the lights, the crops and the electric bill.

I'm not very good at predicting weight, I always guess wrong.

I have trouble with high humidity but I use an air conditioner which helps a lot.

So iv trimmed them again just to let light through to other stems, these plants are not at even canopy at the moment so today was one of the last times i will prune till 2-3rd week in flower, i will try train them to be even canopy once there in the 4x8 as im thinking of putting 2 net screens up, 1 to slightly bend them down and up to try my best at an even screen.

They have 20 days to stretch up till they get switched to 12/12, there roots have spread under the pots them selves, big white hairy roots, so once there in flower im hoping they will be feeding on around 4-5L a day.

My OG Kush stretched about 3 feet and I thought I had them held back, but they have a mind of their own. Anxious to see your Northern Light grow, I think I will grow mine out after the next grow which should mean I drop seeds for them middle to late September to harvest around march. Once I harvest my OG Kush in a couple weeks I will move my Nebula, Black Cherry Punch, Northern Soul and Ogk clones into flower.

Did they really? my 4 O.G. Kush are still really small considering there 5 weeks old and are under a 600w MH bulb but they have gone through some pruning to get where they are now, 4 Northern Lights iv got the same setup mainlined are similar height but the stems are nearly 1/2" thick already considering the O.G. Kush is less than 1/4".

So there around 6-8" high now all 16 main stems are a little hunched up but they have 20 days to stretch to around 20" high then im hoping to only gain 15-20" that will give me around 4ft height from base of pot to top of canopy, trying to keep the canopy relatively low so when i run all 3 lights i can have enough space above to get rid of all hot air, im actually ordering a 8" extractor and 8" 600mm carbon filter to help with this, if i can stay below 27c i may consider running the plants an extra week or 2.

Hello all so im back with a few photos, for some reason my seedling have stopped growing as fast, they have been under a 600w MH bulb since coming through at over 4ft away, put them under a T5, im planning on vegging them till 27th but looking at them at the moment they may need an extra week and in all honesty i think iv over watered them a little, going to let them dry out 70%.

My flowering tent is going well, was hoping for bigger buds of the 2 Northern Lights but it is what it is, 20 more days to fatten up, they have started ripening up beautiful, i would not be surprised if there is no hairs and very little % of clear trichomes if any, the Critical is going very well, if i knew then what i know now about this strain i would of vegged 10 Criticals and flowered them off in this tent, what a great yielding plant its turning into, nice big dense buds, the other 5 Skunk are doing okay as they can be, i would advise anyone to grow this strain to keep it small and really low 20's in temps.

So after i decided i was not going to grow again next year but after considering the pros and cons, i dont like leaving the house when i have HPS lights running, so iv decided im going to continue growing but only in my 90x60x90 tent, only a small germination tent but if i train the plant into a scrog i could get 3-4oz from that space, so i can grow a few fruity strains to try, i cancelled my last LED light but could anyone suggest one for me, its total coverage will be 90cm length, 60cm wide and 90cm high, so ill run a fairly good 4" extractor, a 600w LED maybe or could i get a stronger one?
