Hippy Canucks Indoor CBD Multi Strain, MH/HPS, Quadline

SO this is my 2nd season growing. Ive had some amazing results.
Currently I am doing a CBD grow. I really enjoy mct oil and its darn expensive to Im going to make my own.
I just flipped 2 of my gurls yesterday to flower, and my 3rd plant is about 17 to 18 days from flower
The # strains I am growing are Harlem Queen CBD 25 to 1, CBD Strawberry 25 to 1, and CBD OG Kush, 16 to 1.
They are grown in Sunshine Mix #4
I feed them Hydroponics Flora Trio.
I have them in a 5x5 tent. They are under a 1000 watt Solis Tek Ballast and Hortilux MH/HPS bulbs. I run 1 4inch inline fan sucking the air out of my tent exhausting to the outdoors, and a 6 inch fan exhausting my silverstar hood. One small fuct fan booster pumps fresh air into the bottom of the tent. THe setup works extremely well. I run my ballast at 600 and 660 with MH through veg, and 750watts durng flower.
As seedlings they all start out under cfls and a 2x2 tent.
I train them using a Quadline to get a bunch of tops at canopy level.
It might take a day or two, but I will start from seedlings and document up to current.

SO to get the training going I usually transplant into 7 gallon bags at day 18, that gives them time to adjust, and I Top at Day 21. I let them bounce back, and at day 25 I defoliate and start typing down my 4 main branches to get them to grow sideways.

FLOWER DAY 2. (CURRENT)
I usually flip them into flower between day 45-50. These two (Harlem Queen CBD, ANd STrawberry CBD) I put into flower at 45. Here are a few pictures as they took off. I switch to HPS usually a week before flower, and give them 24hrs of dark before FLower.

FLOWER DAY 3
My Harlem Queen CBD is out of control. She is going to need a massive final defoliation. Strawberry CBD is a bit smaller. The third and smallest is my OG Kush CBD. Shes still in flower (day 28) but I put here in my flower tent for the 12 hours its on. The other 6 hours she gets LED in here tent. I want her to be by herself in my flower tent when shes ready. Ill veg her to 60 days and give her my HPS all by herself.

This is another Cinderella 99 x Blueberry.
I grew her outdoors here in Alberta on my west facing patio. With how horrible of a summer we had I was surprised she gave me what she did. She filled 2 quart jars. Buds were smaller, but still had a kick to it. Lol. Really nice smoke. I grew it in a mix of potting soil and hp promix. Fed it every 3rd or 5th watering. Topped it once and that was out it.

Hey just wondering what is the purpose of 24hrs of dark before flipping to flower?

Its supposed to tell that plants to switch to flowering. Ive fipped with 24hrs of dark and without. Ive noticed no differences. I suppose its a wives tale. I do it anyways. It also allows you to fine tune what hours of day you want your 12 hours of light
