Hi all guys,

quick question on my first grow ever.

Quick recap.
Planted 2x RQS royal haze autoflowering.
58 days from sprout, today.
Outdoor growing (terrace), in two pots - one 5 liter and the other 20 liters.
All quite good so far, a lot of sun, some rains, some nutes, all seems normal.
The plant in the 5 liter pot (all pictures here are from this one in the 5 liter) did not developed in height, being now at approx 35cm (the other one is more or less the double, both in eight and "diameter").
However, she has been quicker in flowering and appears to be at a stage more advanced than the other one.
Now some of the (few) leafs has also started to turn yellow (see pics).

This evening i took some pictures of her and of the tricomes with an usb microscope.

She's 58 days from sprouting, supposed to be ripe to be harvested (According to the datasheet) in 10-12 weeks, that means 77 days in average (another 20 days, basically).

What do you think? where we are with this?

I'm attaching pics of the plant, of the microscope taking pictures, and microscope pictures... tricomes pictures are all from the side bud except one.

Any feedback is very welcome!

Thanks

Shes looking good alot of milky trichomes some clear too, but none ambering yet... and you said its a haze strain ... a lot of haze strains take longer then 10 weeks plus to bloom fully... also take into account the transition period week of the plant going from veg to bloom. I'd say maybe 2 more weeks. Also depends what type of stone you want clear trichomes lil to no effects ... milky trichomes up lifting and euphoric buzz and amber trichomes sedation buzz! :) lol

Thank you very much Herby, much appreciated...

Definitely I'd like uplifting/euphoric instead of couch locking.

I'll check her again in 7-10 days and i'll see... it is good/safe to harvest at the first signs (let's say 2-5%) of amber trics?

thanksss again

ya at 2 to 5 % ambering you should end up with a more uplifting , euphoric ,energetic buzz! The last thing you want is clear trichomes they hold low thc /cbd so make sure almost all of those are gone before harvesting.

Update on trics, token today (3 days from the last pics). Are those "milky" or "glassy"? It seems to be to see also some amber, but am i wrong? I'm not expert at all in judging... (first time ever :))

Yuppers some more are milky you still have some clear tho, but they are really coming along, I think I can see an amber here and there nothing much for amber yet really, Keep her going you want some milky trichomes or more amber? As you can see in this pic I'm waiting for more amber, but she sure is milky hardly any clear left. lol :) Good luck!

Hey mate thanks for the quick reply.

Basically i don't want a body/stone/couchlock effect, and that is also the reason why i picked a sativa dominant strain... I'm not also concerned about losing some potency potential (i.e. harvesting not at the maximum thc), but definitely i do want some effect and good flavour... so according to what i read here so far, i should more or less avoid amber and go for as milky as possible, so i was wondering if this is the time to chop or if it is way too early and would be harsh flavour and/or no effect.

No problem :) ... I think you could go another few days to a week and then chop by then you will have that ratio of milky trichomes you are looking for and the buzz you seek! lol :)
