How many plants should be under a 1000 watt lamp?

I have heard of 1.5 pounds per lamp yields with plants as low as 8 and as high as 50 per 4x4 light print.

What is optimum?

I like 80 myself.

How many plants depends on how you work what you got.
They bushy, you will have less ,
straight up colas , you'll can get more in there.

We have a 1KW in a 5x5' room. 'have had as many as 25 in a 4x4' tray SOG and got a pound. We only let them get 42" tall so if one had more veritcal space.......
