How to Make a Grow Journal

To start a new Journal just go to "Journals in Progress" and click on 'Post New Thread' (black box located in top left of page).

With enough setup information in the beginning, your grow journal will be monitored and analyzed by master growers from all over the world. The more pride and effort you put into your journal, the more response, interaction and support you will receive from our members and staff.

First and foremost, please make sure to post your Grow Journal in the proper area for Journals In Progress.

Also, please make sure to use proper grammar and structure when choosing your thread title, your Name/Growing-Medium/Strain-Name/Year is a good start.

Examples:
420's Hydro Skywalker Grow Journal - 2010
420's Outdoor Skywalker Grow Journal - 2009
420's Soil Skywalker Grow Journal - 2010
420's Deep Water Culture Skywalker Grow Journal -2008

There are many journals hosted on 420 Magazine. You increase your potential number of subscribers when they can immediately determine the strain and grow method - right from your title.

Consider putting as much of the following information as possible to start the thread with.

What strain is it?
Is it Indica, Sativa or Hybrid? What percentages?
Is it in Veg or Flower stage?
If in Veg... For how long?
If in Flower stage... For how long?
Indoor or outdoor?
Soil or Hydro?
If soil... what is in your mix?
If soil... What size pot?
Size of light?
Is it aircooled?
Temp of Room/cab?
RH of Room/cab?
PH of media or res?
Any Pests ?
How often are you watering?
Type and strength of ferts used?

This info will make it much easier for accurate help to be given when needed and keep the members interested in your grow.

EXAMPLE

Bucket Size - 3.5 gallon
Medium - 75% perlite 25% vermiculite.
Lights - (2) 400w HID
Nutrients - FloraNova Grow/Bloom, Floralicious Plus
Strain(s) - Blue Dream, Cannalope Haze, Lavender
# of Plants: 9
Yield : 14-16 Ounces.

Not really but you can ask the busy mods to do it. Just report that post with your question on it (exclamation mark bottom left corner- at least on my screen) and explain.

If your journal title is in your signature you can click on settings- edit signature, and change the name that appears in your signature. But the original journal name won't be changed. All post titles can only be edited by mods as far as I know.

I do have the sig for my thread. But just as my 2nd grow which im happy with.
Just when I started the thread I was doing 3 strains but now I have 5 I wanted to change the thread title.

Yeah- it's best to just make a title that covers everything. I often see people post journal titles listing the strains and what week they're at and stuff. A couple weeks later it's totally out of date already.

You can change the journal title. Simply make a report (report button, bottom left of every post) from the first post in the journal, saying exactly what you'd like the new title to be. A Mod will attend to it.

Here I am again. I've been through some really tough Shight in my life but nothing like this past year to be sure. I've decided to get back into the Grow My Own top shelf healthy as well as potent Medical Marijuana. I wont get into what I've been through as that's for a whole other Forum eh. LMAO... I will say this though, "since I opened my seed jar and put half a dozen seeds out to germinate my mental health and anxiety all but diminished" If only I could do it all day Everyday. Thank Heavens soon I will be able to accomplish said goal once I'm licensed to Grow Medical & Recreational as well. Now lets talk about The Green Hearted God Of Cannabis & how I've been Blessed
by said Entity. My Son also a Medically prescribed Medical Marijuana patient had purchased a half ounce of said Nuggage and as Fate/Karma as well as Mother Nature herself has seen to it that there was a Hermi Nug that produced one of the darkest and plump seeds that I've ever seen. As to be expected She is a Glorious Gal indeed. I'm going to be Cloning her to be sure as well as allowing her to fully Bloom to her maximum yield. I've NEVER Cloned anything in my life previously and will be looking for any and all help/advice available here on 420 (by far the Best place on Earth to connect with other Growers anywhere on our planet Eh) This Beautiful Princess has truly given me Purpose and Hope for much better days to come. to any and all whom assist me in advance
