How To Make Concentrated Cannabis Oil

I think we had this conversation in the past ,so here is what i copy and pasted from our conversation, just in case you lost that information.. Here is what i would do , break your bigger buds up a bit ( Not to a fine powder) but pieces about the size of your baby finger nail, lol. Make sure your weed is nice and extra dry( i use a food dehydrator with vents closed), put the alcohol & bud(not mixed together) in the freezer at the coldest possible temperature for 8-12 hrs ,remove and mix the alcohol & bud together, Shake & stir for 5-10 mins and strain through a thin cloth material( i do not recommend cheethcloth since i find bud material still falls threw it. Use a thin fabric shirt with no Dye, something made from hemp would be ideal imo. . I will then place back into the freezer for 3-4 hrs after i have strained it so the residue will settle in the bottom of the Jar(s) ( this makes for a much faster filtering process) .Now when you bring the alcohol oil mixture back out the freezer be sure to use 6-8 mason jars to do your filtering, you do not want the alcohol reaching room temperature or the the chlorophyll and plant waxes will dissolve and fall leech through the filters( that is the point of winterizing so the plant waxes and chlorophyll will coagulate and get stuck in the filter giving you a much better quality end product. I will filter at least 3 times . Once all filtered you can then add to induction stove top appliance to evaporate the majority of the Alcohol off before adding the remainderto the rice cooker(speeds the evaporation process when using both obviously depending on the size of the batch of course) be sure to tilt and shake your rice cooker gently when down to roughly a cup of alcohol left to prevent from burning your oil( the middle of the rice cooker will be the hottest that is why you should tilt it a bit so the remainder will evaporate at the bottom edge of the cooker). I will also turn the rice cooker to warm instead of hot when there is only a 1/4 cup of alcohol left to be sure not to burn it. I take a induction frying pan or skillet and add a cooking oil to it ( roughly 3/4 inch ) use a stainless shot glass or a 1/4 cup measuring cup and fill it with your oil from the rice cooker , I set my induction to 250 and put a washer in the bottom of the frying pan for my stainless cup to sit on. You will see the remainder of the alcohol bubble and start to evaporate off, after about 5 mins i will then set my temp of the induction to 195 and stir frequently to be sure it still doesn't burn. As far as getting the top THC point...I stopped worrying about that awhile ago( there is such a fine line there and hard imo to hit it right on). Just wait for the very little bursts of very tiny bubbles then that means your oil is ready. Sorry for punctuation, never majored in English, lol. I have made almost a kilo of oil in the past 3 years using different methods and this is imo opinion the most efficient and highest quality oil you can get. Each for their own thou. I have treated many ppl with awesome results using this oil. My oil is made from my own 100% Organic Outdoor weed also which in my opinion is very important. Good Luck

I do think I have the making bit pretty much sorted, but let me ask a few questions, BTW I delete all messages hence the loss but il be keeping these lol, filter 3 times, so 6 to 8 jars once it's gone thru send it all back thru again? For a second and third? Also why do you start off at 250, is it each to there own, some ppl start at 180 and Come up you start up and then Down, sounding like a porno this isn't it again, iv just washed some leaf and shake as we call it, iv added it bk to the freezer until tomorrow, I was thinking of skipping the rice cooker, and evaporating slowly but sure hoping Infact I'm sure I was advised it would make for better quality this is the thing so many opinions, but il know you guys know ur stuff hence why I wanted to go your way and grandpa's

Yes filter at least 3 times , i also use outdoor cannabis that i always do not have the time to wash ( 185 plant legal outdoor grow for one person is a hell of alot of work, lol)so will be slightly dirtier (dust, Pollen, bug crap etc.) that is the reason i filter a few times. As for starting the temps at 250 degrees, this decision is made based on that temps of the oil is 250 but the temps of the oil inside the stainless measuring cup would take a bit more time to reach 250 degrees, i only do this until i see remainder of the Alcohol start to evaporate i then quickly lower temps to 195 ( Just like to utilize my time as efficiently as possible considering the time that is involved). Start at 180 if you wish and wait 10 mins or start at 250 and wait 5 mins, that is just me Lol.
