How to turn a plant male?

How do I turn a plant male, so I can use it to pollinate a female plant?

What I'm trying to do is produce seeds from x strain female plant crossed with y strain male, so I can guarantee I get the seeds I want.
I've brought some regular seeds of y strain and want a 100% guarantee it will turn male.

Guarantee? It doesn't really work that way as far as I know. You can make a female hermie- but I don't know if any way to make a plant change sex. If you're growing a bunch of regular seeds you'll get some males. Isn't that good enough?

I only have 2 regular seeds, I was thinking if I stress the plant it would increase the likely hood of it being male.
Even if I could get a hermie plant that would be fine

One way you can make a female plant grow hermie flowers is by treating it with colloidal silver. There is a thread or two on the subject in the forum. CS can be bought at health food stores (and I don't know where else - I've never bought it). Somewhere near the beginning of my current journal I posted a little tutorial on how to make it.
