How to water during flower stage

My friend , who farms, told me I should NOT water during the flowering stage......only let her get rain , or if she starts to droop then i can water......is this true? Is this the right way to water during flowering stage?

Hmmmm. I'd say- not really. She should be watered when she gets dry and starting to droop or preferably just before the droop. That's a general rule. If it's raining enough that she never gets dry then you won't need to water. Of course- being wet all the time isn't good either. Maybe what he is suggesting is that you should avoid watering when it's not needed- ie overwatering.

If your friend farms pot, take his advice.... But when his crops start to wilt, unless he can water, he's shit out of luck until it rains... You wouldn't let your garden wilt before watering, don't let your weed wilt if you can avoid it...
