Seeds: 1 northern light,2 dark devil,2 Jack Hammer,3 Daiquiri Lime, 1 Strawberry Cheesecake

Equipment: Iponics 600(total control),6”CloudLine,Fans (many),Dehumidifier(big),Blue Labs Guardian,5x5 Tent(the one with the gorilla)

Lighting: Timber Fatty VS

Medium: Dirti Martini Soil in 3 gallon plastic pots

Nutrients: Mega Crop and RO water

October 23: dropped seeds in distilled water in Jell-O shot cups on heater.
October 24:paper Towel In bag(open) on heater.
October 25: In soil with lights on 20 hour schedule.
October 28: Seedlings above soil.

I was given some auto flowers but sadly none of them were viable. Ordered a bunch of seeds from Seedsman. All the freebies were great.
I dropped all the seeds into Jell-O shot cups in distilled water, transferred to paper towel after 16 hours then left to sprout farther. Transferred to soil and turned the lights on low at 36 inches above soil. All but one sprouted. I dropped another Jack Hammer to replace the failed. I transferred it to it’s paper towel for the night. I use a seed heating mat, towel then a tray between the cups or plastic bags until transferred to soil. I have had great luck with this method.
Funny Story. As normal I was stoned during the above process and I thought that I had lost a Dark Devil seed out of 3 in the transfer. I was bummed. Looked 2 days all over the floor and in the tent. Then I am telling the wife probably the 100th time and she says. You only planted 2 on purpose. I knew that. Lol

I will be ordering my Mega Crop tonight. This is my first time with autos and this soil and this nutrients and yeah. This should be fun. I think that I will top a few of the Autos just to do a comparison with. I know not a perfect scenario but should get some data.

I dropped the lights to 24 inches until 5 minutes ago. Now they are at 18. I also turned on the fans to get the little ones dancing. I always am open to help. Trust me,

Ordered my Mega Crop last night so it should show up next week. About the time I am likely going to need it.
Moved the Jack Hammer seed to its pot this morning. It had a nice tap root on it happy to have all the pots full.
Starting to get a second set of fan leaves on Daiquiri Lime #1.

Did a good spray bottle watering today. The Jack Hammer bean did not come up. I am not having great luck with this strain on viability. I also have super sad droopy fan leaves on Daquri Lime. Didn’t perk up after the watering so we will wait and see.
Had to get all my environmental controls in place. Installed the heater in the tent and got the Iponics set for 68 degrees on and 74 off. The time to heat and cool is figured in the cycle. I will look at the graph tomorrow and make adjustments.
I can not wait until my grow space is complete.Exhaust fan set to 80 degrees on. I have super low humidity right now but I want to wait and see because these temps now won’t be what we have over the next few months.

Little girls are looking great and growing fast. Except the Daquiri Lime. It’s a sad little one. She’s growing so there’s some hope. Looks like I got the environmental set correctly last night. I may have to go ahead and turn on the humidifier but I will wait. We are supposed to warm back up so that will help.
Received the Mega Crop I ordered and really looking forward to the ease of use.

Opened tent to find the girls a little droopy and light tacoing and the soil was separated from the sides. With a quick lift test they all are dry. Watered each plant 6.7 p.h with a total of 33 ounces. Got a very small run off on each.this was the first big watering since the plants went into the soil.
Daquiri lime #2 is going to make a comeback.
All the plants look great at this point. I will be adding the humidifier today because of the tacoing and my humidity being under 40%. The plants are a little light on the green side for my liking but I believe after this watering that will change. First time with this soil so I am curious on how long before deficiencies and I need to start the Mega Crop. The soil says 2-4 weeks.

All the plants enjoyed the good watering on Sunday. Even my runt I will now call Nancy has shown some life.
Moved another Jack Hammer from zip lock to soil. This is the 3rd attempt. If this one takes it will be 50/50. Not my kinda odds with seeds.
I am now in this self debate of whether to feed MC this next watering. This is the first run with this soil and a new soil type also.
The new dehumidifier will be here tomorrow so I can stop with the wet towel.

No changes to the tent made. Watered each plant with 1500ml with 6gm megacrop per 3 gallon.
Sprayed the underside of Nancy with Clonex and she got green again over night. She didn’t need watering but because I believe the soil is dead I forced it down her soil.

things are looking good in there hydro.

hate the seedling stage. lose more plants at this point than anywhere else in a grow.
you have everything nice and established.

are you ph'ing with the mega crop ? curious about the 6.7. your media has more buffer than straight hydro.
a few of folk over at the mega crop thread have stopped ph and others are contemplating it. the thinking is it's more to assist a salt based nute than it is for the plant.

Thanks. Seedlings suck. All cute and fragile. When I mixed my MC I ended up with 5.9 p.h. If it would have a little higher I would have said whatever. That low makes me nervous. I continue to watch them not P.H and hopefully I get that warm and fuzzy and throw caution to the wind. I am also getting use to soil. So far the stuff is easy.

Dropped another Jack Hammer seed. Not that my hopes are high with this strain or this seed coming up.Wven the one that has sprouted is one of the weakest. Besides Nancy.
Another Strawberry Cheesecake was dropped.I took the pot and fed 2gm-gallon of MC to give the pot a good nutrient hit. Also took the great white and sprinkled in its new warm hole.
Plan is to either put Nancy in the corner or isolate her to the small tent. I am hoping for a miraculous growth because the other two are some of the best plants.

Yea and the clean up from the An verses the Mc . Made me lazy ! I used the whole connoisseur line 15 bottles , had to damn near pressure wash everything! Mc clean with a wet rag !

The 3rd replacement Jack Hammer shows its head. Hopefully this one sticks around. Also the Strawberry Cheesecake sprouted. Filled the humidifier back up. Put stones under the branches last night to lift them up off the soil.

DAY 19:
All of the pots besides the 2 babies are ready for a drink.
DL2(Nancy) 2ml-1gallon MC She’s limping along but not real impressed. She gets moved over to the corner out of the intense light. I will give the two new girls their place under the lights.
All other plants will get the 3Gm-1gallon MC from MR.Saugas suggestion.
Did some very light trimming on both the Dark Devils taking off the very lower small stems. They were dragging the soil and at 19 days now or never. Should make watering easier. I would rather clip my plants than handle them with my hands every three-four days.
Rearranged the tent to make things easier. Having to get to the back of the tent to fill the humidifier sucks.

Day 21
I found pre flowers on day 20 on most of the plants.
Watered the two small girls with 2gm-gl until run off yesterday.
Opened the tent to find DD1 has grown taller. I am guessing seeing the preflowers we are going into the stretch.
