I can’t grow in soil

Every time I have used soil my plants start out great for the first few weeks but then it always goes south and they end up looking like this.

They always end up drooping and start to loose color from bottom up. I’m using fox farm ocean forest in 3 to five gallon fabric pots. Ph my water at 6.5 or so cuz from the tap it’s almost 9. I water every 3 to 4 days pretty much once top layer feels dry. When I water there is run off but it dries up within the day. Temp and humidity stays the same high 70 f in the day and low 70 f at night and humidity 48 to 55%.

My hydro plants have always done fine looking great. They always outgrow my soil grows like the hydros I just started like three weeks ago have caught up with what I started a month ago.

I have two autos in flower together started at the same time and you can see the difference below.

what do you use to raise ph? potassium sulphate? a potassium TOXICITY will show us as a magnesium deficiency

if not its a magnesium and or nitrogen deficiency

also after a few weeks may be time to amend your soil anyway depending on the amount of food that was in there to start with

Each gallon I have to use 1 ml but I do more for my hydro to get it to 5.9

water with 6.3 if your using hydroponic( synthetic salts as food)

that way with your average pot depth, should get your roots at 6.1, which is my ph

The two in the first pic look hungry, but in the second some look like they have slightly high nitrogen. What have you been feeding them so far?
