I found a little bug on my plant

first of all I dont know what kind of bug it was it looked like a tick kind of and was to big to be a spider mite,my question is can I use seven dust on my plant and if not what is a good pesticide for me to use

Are you still in the veg stage ? If so, I use Immunox for rose bushes.... but if you are in flowering use neem oil

I wouldn't rage war against one possible bug. Keep a close watch for the next week and see what happens. Then plan your attack. It wouldnt hurt to try and get a picture of the bug in question if at all possible.

why not just pick it up and toss it?

ofcourse you can get rid of the bug you see. But I wouldnt worry about treating the whole crop with pesticide because of one known bug.

yeah it is in vegatative state I kind of feel stupid because it turns out it was a tick I found one that looked just like it on my arm.........lol my mistake

It is SOOO important to check your plants for bugs as often as you can. Using poisons should not be an issue... keep in mind that a small pest problem is normally no problem, natural pest control like ladybugs or spidermite pred's would would... but PLEASE... keep an eye on your plants.... ALSO VERY IMPORTANT... when going into your grow room, make sure that you have on different clothes on so you don't bring in insects with you... you would never notice if you brought in a spidermite from the outside.. AND ALWAYS KEEP A CLEAN GROW ROOM

dont worry I check my plants everyday.............they are my babies and as for keeping a clean grow space I do my best
