I made another tincture

So this time I ran it in the Magic Butter machine for 8 hours. This is 75g real sugary sugar trim I tried to trim twice once for the waste and once for the “trim de la trim” than 30g buds I have a small decarber so I was decarbing for days.
I have a 96% alcohol that I used last time and it was ok. I did not run it for 8 hours and did not have that much “material” in it. Now I am at the evaporation phase. I have it in a large bowl with a net over it as not to blow dust in there with a fan on it.
it is really hard to see on the photos as the tincture is super dark, but there is a “layer” on the bottom about 1-2 cm it looks like devolved trichomes. I want to get the “drops” dosage. Last one was 35ml so a lot. This is filtered but should I suck up the sediment on the bottom of the bowl? It looks like the concentrated stuff I want like liquid hash.I will let this evaporate for a while.so it will get more concentrated. Anyone got tips so this one can be better?

So I took the sediment out well some of it. I am drying it, I wonder what that will be like. Looks cool

Do u run your alcohol and weed mix through a coffee filter. I know very little about the magic butter machine but if I do oil or a tincture I run the mix through two unbleached coffee filters and it comes out clean. 1 filter busted a couple if times on me that's why I use 2.

rick simpson method is what i use.Got me a stil so its a little safer.Also takes mins not hours to burn of the alcohol.

Rick Simpson method? Yes it is taking days to evaporate 750 ml @96%

Google it. But that’s the guy who invented this way of making cbd/thc extract. Using a stil means no naked flame and you catch the alcohol and re use. Or like you it takes awhile to evaporate and u lose the alcohol. Coffe machine to finish and my stil and I’m good to go. I catch about 60/70% of the alcohol back with the stil 750ml would take you no more than a few hours max in a stil. It’s the finishing on the coffee machine that’s takes longer for me. Nice and slow burn the last of alcohol of and not burn the product.

Ok I looked up the Rick Simpson method I did do that they call it the cold air method. I can boil it down that I have tried. It worked ok too but I liked the cold air method better I just had a plan on it.

Each to the own. Both ways work well just don’t have the time for cold air takes to long. I’m done in half a day with a stil.

Mix a little residue in yogurt or ice cream and see if it's psychoactive. Start small just in case.
