A week ago I decided to top my plant shes been in veg stage for 4 months. Prior to topping I read on one a forum my dad sent me on topping that said to top 7in down from the top on the plant, so I thats what I did. Her veins were a bright purple now theyre dark. Did I mess up? If so can it be fixed ?

More info you give the better, some other things going on I imagine but other folks will be able to help you with more info. As it's difficult to be totally wrong topping the plant, yeah you can slow it down or make it grow weird but only way it would hurt it is if it got an infection in the open wound kind of thing far as I know. I mean they grow in the wild and deer and other things munch on them (doubt they correct and selective pruners) or crap falls on them etc...and they still manage to grow.

10-4 man thanks ! And haha yea my bad i appreciate the advice. One thing I did forget to mention is that I water every 4 days with goldleaf and when the top of the soil goes dry I mist her with fresh water and again with goldleaf and ph at 6.57. Temp stays between 80 and 87 and humidity stays between 55 and 65. And i have 1200 watt led grow lights on her. Do you see anything wrong with my watering cycle or the humidity and temp since I topped her ? Like would you recommend it be different since she went into recovery

They like a dry cycle so have to go by more than the top of the soil being dry, kind of you get used to how heavy it is when it's dry (like when you first put in pot compared to what it weighs watered). Not familiar with those nutrients or if they want a certain ph level. Leaves kinda funky looking to me, but I"m not one to ask far as deficiencies or too much of something troubleshooting as I haven't been doing it as long as many here.

She’ll be fine but why wait that long to top
I figured she would yield more if I let her get taller

One secret to big yield is work on building a big strong root system. Start in a 1 gallon pot until she fills it with roots the up pot to a bigger pot.

yea i did notice she was pretty light before I watered her and I stuck my finger in about a inch deep in the soil and she felt damped. You think I shouldn't have watered ?
