Alright.... so tonight I finished manicuring the first 3 of 6 plants and putting them into jars... first up was university hills og, followed by my 2 mystery purple cookies looking plants.

I will be leaving the jars open for at least a day or 2 since the buds are still fairly moist inside, and after they lose more moisture I will take the dry weights of each plant.

Tomorrow I will be manicuring hopefully the remaining 3 plants, however 2 of them are the very leafy sativa dominant plants, so I may have to spread it out over the next 2 days.

very nice. what are you thinking the dry weight will be? those advanced LED's are killing it. I just got a platinumLED to go with my mars2 and the plants seem to love the different spectrum.

mmm that's looking great there Icemud. Much better than the 16g I just pulled from my first ever plant grow under a 600w HPS *cough cough* don't tell anyone, I may have broken a record one way or another. Two questions though if I may.

1. Do you have any worries about mould with putting them into jars still moist, or do you have any preventative measures that helps with this?

2. Can I smoke whatever you wipe that mirror down with? That looks like a lot of sugar lying around there

Well I got the time to do 2 more, so only 1 plant left which will be manicured tonight

So far everything smells amazing and looks really good.

Alright everyone.... The final plant has been manicured and placed in jars... the last to trim...the blue dream...

So all the buds are dry today and ready for the jars to be sealed up and burped about 1x per day for the next week, and then about 2x per week the following 2 weeks.

I weighed all the plants and here are the results:

Blue Dream: 96.3g
Mystery OG: 77.2g
Mystery cookies 1: 86.8g
Mystery Cookies 2: 80.1g
Churchberry: 76.1 g
UVH OG: 60.6g

Total yield: 475.0g or .63G/Watt

Here are the single plant totals from last grow using only 2x XTE 300's:
Blue Dream: 76.6g
Ogiesel: 70g
GSC:74.6g
Purple Urkle 53.2g
GDP:66.5g
Churchberry: 50.5g

So all of the strains I grew this round vs last round that were the same plant: This new grow each plant yielded about 20-25grams more per plant on the current overkill grow using 3x XTE300s

Here are my total weights for all of my grows and G/w
Grow 1: 1000w HID (400w CMH + 600w HPS) Total yield 574g or .57 grams/watt
Grow 2: 1000w HID (400w CMH + 600w HPS) Total yield 547g or .55 grams/watt
Grow 3: 1000w HID (400w CMH + 600w HPS) No Yield Data (Powder Mildew took over)
Grow 4: 1000w HID (400w CMH + 600w HPS) Total yield 325g or .33 grams/watt
Grow 5: 580w (400w CMH + Mars II 400w) Total yield 245g or .42 grams/watt
Grow 6: 540w LED (3x Mars II 400/180w models) Total yield 308g or .57 grams/watt
Grow 7:>300w LED (2x Intelligent Gro, GEN1, 180w each on dimmer) Total yield 191g or .63 grams/watt
Grow 8: 540W LED (3x Intelligent Gro, GEN2, 180w draw each) Total yield 367g or .70 grams/watt
Grow 9: 494W LED (2x Advanced LED XTE300, 247w draw each), Total yield 391.4g or .79grams/watt
Current Grow: 750W LED (3x Advanced LED XTE300, 247w draw each, Total yield 475.1g or .63G/Watt

Now overall I think this grow yield wise could have been better but my monthly business trips and having to drench my soil and the periods following the drenches really seem to slow progress down as far as growth and plant health, so I think without the business trips I may have seen a larger yield. However based on scent and looks of this grow and the buds, I think I may have a much more potent and quality grow this run that last run. Either way you look at it I got a nice 17oz off this grow should be very enjoyable in a few weeks to try them out once cured

So here are the photos for today's trimming plus a full yield lineup I will be doing a smoke report when the buds are ready as well as some nice close up shots of the individual buds, so stay tuned

Also, Try to get a flatter canopy under led if you want max yields. Seems to work for me.

Problem is I am new to growing and started read every tutorial and 20+ journals for 6 month first.
So I started with heavy training but got no base to see what is without training.

For me training has many pros like keep them short and don't need a big veg area and light.

About the same draw as my eshine lights which show 260w each on the meter. I did 1gpw on my first led grow which is better than I ever did with hps. Hopefully we can both do better next time. Some people are doing over 2gpw apparently!

1Gpw is really good I know I can get better numbers, my next grow I pretty much am trippling the pot size, and reducing the plant count to 3 plants. I figure with more soil and organics, it will have more available nutrients for the girls.

Happy Green Friday there Ice - yeah you're spot on there with the heat thing. I'm finding that exactly, my HID was cooler in the tent cause of the way I was venting (cool tube) no actual heat or very little make its way into the tent but with the LED everything is in the tent. I have to open the doors during lights on but its not too bad at least I'm not growing Blueberry x Skunk this round! hahaha

Hey BoBrown! Yea I noticed it right away that its a sort of "flaw" with current LED technology. I definitely would love to see some changes in design. When I finally get around to making my own panels, I already have a solution in mind, with a few other things that the current tech isn't at yet

Yea they really turned out good this grow haven't really sampled them yet, but in am about to in a few minutes

Wow move colours!

Yea the colors really came out in them this time, I think it may be due to either the very high intensity lighting... the colors are usually formed by protective pigments in the plant, kind of like a built in sunscreen (also strain dependent)

78 days! Man you take it to the end.

Yep, took it all the way to 80 before they all got cut and hung for drying. Ive actually taken some strains to 100 days under HID.
