Hello all

I was here a few years ago when I experimented in a cupboard and the input I got from you all was invaluable so I'm back and experimenting again, but this time I'm trying harder with more love! I am not an experienced grower. It was one plant in a cupboard and it went well enough. Many things learned though. Much of which was thanks to this site.

After introducing myself like this it was suggested I make a journal so here goes:

Firstly the equipment:-

BAY6 XXL Grow Tent 240cm x 120cm x 200cm
2 x 600W BAY6 Grow Lights Digital ballasts

1 x Two Light Timer Contactor
1 x Grasslin Mechanical Timer
RVK150A1 Eco Extraction Kit
8 x 12 Litre RhizoPot - 26cm x 26cm x 22cm

Just for fun I've also got an LED in there specs are:
1200W LED Grow light
Model: 200W
LED Quantity: 120PCS exclusive 10W Double Chips LED
Actual Power: about 120W±10% power, much better than the same product in market
Spectrum: 410-475nm , 620-660nm ,3000K 6000K
LED Brand: High Intensity Epistar Chip
Input voltage: AC 85-265V 50/60Hz
Lumen: about 1600 lumens
Coverage Area: 2.5*2ft for Veg, 2*1.5ft for flower
Decibel of the light: About 56DB
View Angle of LED: 90/120 degree Mixed
Lifespan: ≥50000hours
Size: approx.310*210*60 cm

I'm growing in Tropic Bat Mix

I have Seed that have popped and the plants are
4x HEAVYWEIGHT DREAM MACHINE FEMINISED,
1 X HEAVYWEIGHT GREEN NINJA FEMINISED,
2 X HEAVYWEIGHT MONSTER PROFIT,
1 X KERALA X SKUNK #1 REGULAR.

I popped the seeds in water on 31/12/2017 and the latest photo's are the babies going in to the pots on 14/01/2018!

All feedback, tips and even questions are welcome but I am very much a noob so go easy on the questions please! ;)

Subbed in. Your setup looks awesome and the babies look healthy :)
Thanks man. I've been researching the plant for years so I'm hoping it's a smooth ride!
Do you have a journal? I'm having some problems navigating the site but please feel free to send a link if you have one. :). . .

Hello

I'm not sharing my name on profile but I've no problem in replying to messages and I will tell who I am etc.

I'm only holding my identity to protect my career .

So I'm me. Born in Nottingham, England. I support my local team for Football (or Soccer) ;)
My former work life had me travel and live in a few UK cities and mainland Europe. I found if I wasn't working in Holland and had a day off I visited! Funny that!

Anyway now I'm here back very close to where it all began and I'm trying something new.

This is a personal project and while I may have to let some of my final yield go to cover costs I am very much doing this in secret to cut a lot of crap out where I have to deal with the wrong people.
I also want to remove tobacco from my life and believe this along with my vaporiser will do the trick!
I don't like seeing my friends put up with shit and get shit weed too. So I'm stepping in. (Even those friends don't know yet!).

So I'm getting on through the middle age and giving it a punt. Viva the revolution!

I play Playstation, work, Bikes (MTB etc), Child, this new hobby. I do what I like because I live alone and it makes me feel better in this crazy World!

Peace and Love to you all!

Thanks for the views and likes and I hope we share a great experience!

Peace! ;)

Thanks man. If you have a journal please send a link, I'm always happy to learn and talk. .
I have a couple journals but I'm not to smart with these smart phones lol. You can click on my name on this post and then click on my posts and you will see my journals. You can also search EastCoastGhost's second run with photos 2017 and find the journal I'm on now. I am going to be ending my current journal in a couple weeks and I'm currently building a new grow space at my new home. Once I get everything ready I can start another journal. Drop in anytime...️

I've got a journal up at the moment I've just started after not growing for a few years but this time I'm growing 3 autos and 4 photos. Just search my name in the forum or as Ghost suggested just look at my posts by clicking on my name :).

I'm intrigued by the strains you're growing. I will have to have a look at the genetics a bit later. Glad to see another UK grower here!

Hi buddy I've Subbed if that's ok?

Well the Ninja didn't seem to like the way I handled her when I put her in the soil or that's my best guess as to what happened as she went yellow. (you can't tell to much because photo's are under the lights). Happily she's turning lovely and green again so I think everything is ok.

I'll post some pics as tomorrow it'll be 2 weeks in the pots and you can see some growth!!!

So here's the photo update. 2 weeks tomorrow 28/01 in the Bat Guano.

The Green Ninja did turn yellow but is recovering back to green very nicely

Looking good buddy!! .

Are you having issues with high temps as some of those plants look like the leafs are canoeing??

There doing well for 2 weeks old☺

When do you plan to flip the light to 12/12?

Iv read that the green Ninja is low odor but high yielding not sure how much is true not alot of info on this strain as of yet..

You have an excellent eye my friend so I'm glad you're looking in.

Yes there has been a few heat issues but that was because of me. I had some time off when they were a week in the soil so I did a lot of messing about and also when there was snow on my roof I turned all environment control off and pushed the temps hard!
It's all new equipment to me and I wanted to put my mind to rest about what signs there are of a grow and also learn about my equipment. It may be dodgy to treat the plants this way but I'm hoping that a little controlled stress will possibly help.

I can confirm the canoeing is over and the Green Ninja is looking amazing compared to a week ago. There's one spot of yellow left so I'll take it out the tent to get a photo to show you the two colours it's been. I have touched it and I enjoyed the smell on my hands after so not sure about odour.

The room smells fantastic so I can't say if it's giving off any odour or not.

12/12 is coming when I hit about 2.5ft plant height and can't keep it back. I've topped once and hope to do one more this weekend. It has to be then because my tent is only 2m in height. Please feel free to correct me if I've mis calculated.

Thanks for looking in on me and I will be spending more time on the forum soon, maybe bugging you with questions! ;) It's just work and life shit that's been in the way recently but I am making many positive decisions and improving everything around me within my power. I think this positivism started the day I decided to become self sufficient in the weed world!

Here's the Ninja nearly green again. Looks better today too

Wow she looks really good! Lots of bushy growth and the leaves show the health is good too. Keep it up Farquel :)

She is a beaut buddy!! Can't wait to see how she buds up.
Good work keep it up!! .
I have to say when I took her out of the tent to take the photo I gave her a sniff. I couldn't smell anything really. I had to rub my hands on her to make sure there was something there. I'm going to repeat this a few times.
Also the yellow on the bottom fan is pretty much how the whole plant was after potting!
