Indica HPA Aeroponic Grow 2022 LED 5 Strain

Hello, im back again for a 3rd grow in my HPA aeroponic grow, this grow will be focused on 5 Strain mostly Indica.
We have

• Blueberry
• Gelato OG
• Warlock
• RudeBoi OG
• Alien Rock Candy

Most of these seeds were bought from Seedsman.

The grow take place in the Exact same setup i have been using last year, the only difference is the netpot used this time are 1.5in wide instead of the 3in netpot, have placed a rapid rooter in it and foam collar as soon as plant sprouted.

After spending about 3 weeks in my LPA aeroponic bucket it was time to move them to the full system.

Their new home is much less wet than the LPA setup in the bucket so now roots need about a week to adapt to the HPA system.

I started the system with 2 sec of feed and 3 min off to help maintain roots moist
Using still the Emerald Harvest fertiliser with Enzyme komplete and Hydrogen peroxide with a 50% feed of feed chart.
Im keeping temps in the garage around 17C, Temperature in the tent is around 24C, with a humidity around 55% during the day and 40% at night, the temps drops at night to about 15C in the Tent.

After a week in the tent the bigger plant seems to have recovered faster, the warlock which was smaller is slower to recover but there is definitely new roots development which is a good sign, it seems that since i dont have nozzle directly spray on the roots they dont get as much water compared to the LPA system they were started in so it take about the week for them to make those fishbone kind of roots along the main root.

The warlock plant was finally making some new roots.

The Rudeboi OG was topped today pst his 5th node.

Second week has passed since i moved the plant to the new aeroponic chamber, they are definitely growing well, the Warlock seems to be lagging behind but im sure he will make it even if he stays a bit smaller than the other.
I added a 300W water heater to my nute reservoir as it is winter here and it was around 14C keeping around 18-20C.
Currently operating at 30C air temp, with 16-17c root zone, leave tends to be around 22C with 70% humidity during the day and 40% at night.

Finishing week 6 since i started the seed.
They have grown quiet a bit this week.
It was time to install the white plastic below the plants and the screen since one of the plant has reached 30cm high.
Reduce the fertiliser dosage to 40%.
Started adding potassium silicate.

how much head room do you have from the chamber to max height for lights? I grow HPA also, are those just standard no drip "misting" tips? i had to move away from them due to clogging and am interested in what other people are using.

From the top of the tote to the max light height there is about 5 feet, yeah they are standard no drip misting, the trick to not have them clog is to use a product that clean your line, i use Enzyme Komplete, works wonder i check my nozzle once a month and i rarely find one clogged.

gonna order some Enzyme Komplete then, i went with self cleaning ones but at 100 bucks each i cant run all 12 sites at once with 5 heads per site. to much to fork out at one time. i asked about the height because i moved away from totes and am now using 32 gallon trash cans till my mold idea comes around...

Finishing week 7
Its been a rough week for them, i increase the fertilizer stage from transplant to early vegetative stage last week and lowered the concentration from 50% to 40% but it seems the plant are getting too much fertilizer i believe since the leaves took a darker green shade and are curling down, i also suspected some overwatering as i see water droplets on the roots which i believe are to remain damp but not wet.
So i added some RO water to the system to drop the EC from 0.6 to 0.5, also lengthened the time between spray from 4 to 5 min with 2 sec on time.
Its been a few days and they are growing but i haven't seen much difference, if not the tips of the leave are getting yellow on the edge.
I was thinking to drop it some more to 35% but im getting worried to have some deficiency if it lower it too much.
I took picture with flash on some picture to get better color of the plant as my light are a blurple hybrid full spectrum, tend to make them look darker than they are.

Finishing 8th week,
Plants are doing well, i found out that my temperature were going around 13c at night which was too cold for the planet and was causing the leaves to curl down and look darker green, it now drop to 16c at night and they seem to do a lot better.
I also increased the indoor day temp from 16 to 18c to make it a bit warmer in the grow tent as i noted leave temperature was sometimes below 19C.
Change the feed mix to late vegetative today at 35% strength, i also use potassium silicate first rather than micro, seen somewhere that its better to put it before because of PH fluctuation when using potassium silicate, just have to mix well.
Most plant cover about 2/3 of the screen, i guess another 2 week of veg and i be ready to flip to flower.

It is the end of week 9, the screen is almost full so by the end of next week it will be ready to go in flower i believe.
Feeding the late veg mixture of the feed chart at 35% strenght, give me a ec of 0.8
The Gelato OG has split at the end of the main trunk a little so i taped the trunk where it split.

10th week of veg is over, i changed my light to 13.5/9.5 instead of the 12/12 since im still using the far red led to put plant to sleep, i didn't had any reveg problem last year with this schedule so i try it again this year.
Removed also lots of leaves at the bottom and cut some of the branches that were too low.
Using transition feed at 35% strength keeping ph between 5 and 6.

First week of flower is done and they all show sign of pistils which is good.
They have stretched a bit had to raise light twice.
Using early flower feed at 35%
Temps are around 24 in tent and humidity at 75% during the day and 60% at night

Second week of flower is done, they have grown a LOT, about a foot for warlock this week, she was started from seed a week after the others and end up being the tallest plant.
Made my fertiliser at 40% strength this week without cal -mag i think i remember reading that with the full feed i might not need to use cal mag so i try for a few week and see how the plants respond.
Had to raise the light 3 time this week.

Third week of flower is over, they seem to have slowed down the stretch as i only raised light once this week.
Had done a defoliation early this week removing a bucket of leaves and you cant even tell now.
Feed chart is now at mid flower, changed the strength to 45% still not adding cal mag.
Have noted since a few weeks the Gelato OG seems to have older leave turn yellow like a lack of nitrogen around the edges, but affected mostly that one plant, increase the feed chart this week from 40% to 45% see if it make any difference, doesn't look like a calcium or magnesium deficiency, or maybe its PH, trying to keep between 5.0 and 6.0 but i try to keep between 5.5 and 6.0 this week see if it make any difference.
