Indica HPA Aeroponic Grow Experiment 2020

Roots look awesome, how old are the plants?
They are about 7 weeks old, i started the seeds the 10 february and they had sprouted the 13 february.
Im thinking of letting them veg for a while since most didnt survive i will grow SCROG might take a while to fill the screen and im not sure how big those plant can become either but we will see as the weeks go on.

Tried to change the water schedule yesterday to 1 sec on and 3 min off but the plants started to be droopy by the end of the day so i have put it back to 2 sec on and 5 min off for now.

Started pruning large fan leaves growin inwards to let light penetrade inside the plants.
Warlock and tangerine dream looks similar but purple bud has quiet a different shape.

1 sec on & 1:45-2:15 sec off might have been more ideal but its better to play it safe. They're looking good ! :thumb:

Hey, there has been some nice growth, plants are looking healthy, the vegetation is very dense.
I have been pruning large fan leave to let the light penetrate the inside of the plant.
I have noticed a strange behavior i dont fully understand but the roots when touching the side of my tote seems to explode in a cluster of roots, wondering if it could have something to do with the cool air around the totes.

End of week 9
They are very lush, no problem on any new growth, very dense.
The roots seems to be doing well also.
Made the new nute today instead of friday as the res was too full, seems like i used 38 gallon out of 45 in 9 days, so i made 25 gallon nute until friday, should be enaugh.
The lamps are now also seto to 1000W each, this developed more heat so i have to run at minimum speed the ventilation of the garage, it pulls off a lot of cfm so as long as temperature are still chilly outside i run it at minimum and installed a timer to shut t off when lights goes off to save on gas as furnace keeps cycling to keep temperature at 20.c in the garage.
This seems to keep a constant 25.c inside the tent.
I consider my plant to be in late vegetative phase, i give them until the end of the month to spread under the screen and than flip them.
Currently at 480TDS 5.8PH
Cycle at 2 sec on, 5 min off.
Using emerald harvest 3 parts with all their supplements except root wizard as its not available in canada .

Love the setup! Since you have a thermal imaging camera, you should aim for calibrating your vpd off the leaf temperature to optimize your grow stages. You put in some time in on that setup! I do my 12/12 at night for the reason of cold temp air outside I can bring in to cool my CMH. I’m in for the ride, Good luck!
:Namaste:

Personally I optimized for 85F and 65% humidity. A few universities published on 85F being optimized growth at 2 degree lower leaf temps during veg stage. For early flowering I am optimized to 50% and 79F and later flowering I’ll reduce to 45% and 79F. Reasoning for 79F is above 80F you start to lose terpenes and flavonoids. Good luck!

Once you get the VPD dialed in its game over man!!! The secret to growing lol

Thats exactly it, veg should really be only a few weeks for each 2x2 area of space once you hit the proper vpd.
Never heard of that VPD i have to look more into it, atm my humidity is at 15-20% and i have no control over it, waiting for more parts to complete the humidifier setup, what does VPD does?
