Intake Advice Please!

Hi guys!

I currently have my intake running from outside through an open window into the bottom of the tent and the exhaust also going out through an open window. My question is, should I shorten the intake ducting and just have it pulling air from the bottom of the room or shall I leave it as it is, pulling air straight from outside?

I ask as I don't know how much it would change my temps if at all, as temps are fine. I worry about possible condensation is all and my humidity being a little low, would having intake from room rather than cold British October outside air raise my humidity? Effect the running of tent?

You should try it with out the ducting and leaving a window cracked to see the difference. Im pretty sure you will see the humidity rise and the temps might climb a little but not by much. What is the ambient temp and humidity the room the tent is in?

if humidity is low try adding a mister, or humidifier. u can get real cheap ones off ebay. Humidity does drop this time of year in uk, try intaking from room as long as u are still extracting outside of the room it should be fine. but temps may rise a bit.
