Thanks Them! He also lost his glasses so he can't see either. Between the dementia, being hard of hearing, and now being unable to see clearly I can understand why he's getting angrier and angrier. I'm on hold with Lenscrafters now to get replacements for him.
Yeah, I fear my grandmother is getting the dementia pretty bad. Hopefully my mom can retire and move up there in the next year or 2. I have a feeling a good oil regimen could really help, but I'm not sure how my aunt and uncle would feel about it....
Hope things get better for your pops. I would be angry too honestly. Frustrated to say the least, but it sounds like his loving son is on the ball!

On the ball yes, but other than getting him glasses, everything else is a crap shoot!
You can use G2's information to help convince your grandparents on the positives of cannabis. Don't call it marijuana. Remind them it's a plant. The original aspirin comes from a plant. Also, high CBD strains don't get you high so pitch them on the healing aspect.
Shed, my dad had dementia and it was tough. He passed over 20 years ago and I was a million miles away (in every sense) from being able to help in any meaningful way. If I had the opportunities (and increasing understanding) then that I have now I would have loved to have at least tried. Keep it up!
i have a dear uncle suffering from lungcancer and i just dont dare to suggest CBD ... we still live in a illegal country ... it is really painfull knowing that you may save his life or at least make it easier to carry on etc. ... but are to scared to bring it up ... thats really dreadfull

I'm sure that was hard Blew. We can only go with the best we're capable of at the time. Laws change, we mature, people discover new ways of helping. Whatever I'm doing for my dad now will probably be eclipsed ten times over in the next 20 years. I hope my kids model my behavior and take care of me when the time comes. No guarantees though. My sister has chosen to leave my dad's care completely my responsibility. She's on the east coast but doesn't participate at all. I don't hold a grudge though. Everyone is different.
That's awful Pt. Even in states where it's illegal here you might be able to buy hemp-based CBD oil, but I'm not sure. Is there an effort to make medical cannabis available in your country? Federal government notwithstanding here, there is a groundswell of support in the states.

It finally got warm enough for the plans to see the sun today, but first I had to take my son to 2nd round of HS baseball tryouts. When we were leaving, he went to thank the coach and the coach said, "Make sure to check for your name on Monday." That seems pretty positive, but no chicken counting as you have heard me say!
I cut my finger with those incredibly sharp trimming scissors this morning, but rather than show you the cut and the blood and to make sure your goolies don't go funny, here are the before and after shots (blow these up for detail!)...

I'll be making my dad's canna-meds this weekend and I hope it's helpful. He spat in the faces of the caretakers trying to give him a shower yesterday. He hates showers, and I think it's because he gets cold really easily. Wish me luck. I've never done this before.

.Here is the Wednesday update. Back to temps too cold to have the plants in the sun, so they are all shed-bound. Sour G is having a leaf issue so check out the pics below and tell me your thoughts.
Gold Leaf and Sour G needed water today, so I mixed up a gallon with:
3ml cal/mag+
¼tsp Armor Si
2tsp Grow Big
4tbs Big Bloom
PPM was 530 with just cal/mag and Grow Big (not including the water). Armor Si added about 70 on top of that.
Here is Sour G on day 46:
Here are the leaf issues I'm seeing. Nute splash is not an option as there never is any.

i dunno in that last pic that leaf really looks unhealthy ... i would remove it incase it turns out a desease ... the others maybe old wounds that deteriorate over time ... i have a few spots on my plant where i know for sure it was that and they look alot like what you have except last leaf that looks dodgy

im afraid, in EU, legalisation is not around the corner ... you see the problem here is that europeans have adopted the habbit to mix with tobacco ( a habbit that stems from the time when only Moroccan Hashish made it to europe, which in order to be smoked needed to be mixed with tobacco) ... and thats exactly where the first few attempts will strike out ... so it will be a while before cannabis lobby will beat anti-tobacco lobby in many member states ... for now we still are recovering from the economic crisis and are dealing with many right wing populist governements pushing their agendas ... so we need to wait till everything goes better with the economy and the refugee crisis untill liberal-socialist get to power again ... but guess what ... both are doing alot better so the political landscape s starting to change slowly

Well there's a little bit of hope. Obviously the hard part is watching loved ones suffer in a way that might be alleviated with cannabis. It may take a generation to get this done.

And I'm just not sure it's a deficiency and if I did think it was that I would maybe guess Ca? but my gut tells me maybe just some passing nibblers. I would remove the injured ones look closely then just keep an eye on them. Or leave them, and observe for any spreading. Other than that everything looks just peachy to me

So I'm def not an expert but maybe your girls have just a slight calcium deficiency. Wouldn't stress on it though as their color looks great.
EDIT: after seeing the MadDabbers post, I agree with keeping them on to see if it spreads. If it is a deficiency your girls going to take all she needs from the leaf enabling new growth.

If it's a Ca deficiency then I'm wondering if the 3ml cal/mag are enough for photos. It worked fine with the autos but these are my first photos so I'm fumferring along. I still have the egg shells fermenting in the kitchen so I can add some of that to the next nute water, using some random non-scientific amount.
I'll take off the ones with the issue and see what happens going forward. AK def needs more Ca so it might be that here as well.
